I ordered a round-front toilet seat from homedepot.com on Sept. 1, 2006. I selected the item by filtering for round front toilet seats using Homedepot.com's own search engine. The product description does not even state what kind of toilet seat it is, but I assumed it would be right because elongated seats were specifically filtered out. On 9/12/06 the item arrived, and it was an elongated toilet seat. (I also did a search for but did not buy a "one-piece" toilet. The filter was specifically for one-piece toilets but a bowl-only came up in the results. That time the description on the item page was bowl only so I didn't place that order thankfully. Be very careful of Homedepot.com's search filters, they cannot be trusted.)I e-mailed homedepot.com on 9/17/06 and they said they would arrange for the item to be picked up within 3-5 days. Even after ten days, the item was not picked up, and I could no longer leave it at the UPS Store where I receive my mail. I e-mailed them several times urging them to provide me with an address to send the item myself, and they evaded the question, so I called their customer service and they adamantly refused to give me an address to send the item back, they only work on a call-tag basis. This is not a normal policy, and it made it impossible for me to return the item. I initiated a chargeback with my credit card company. So if you decide to order from "homedepot.com"... well, just don't! There's no way to know if the item will be as described and there's no way to know if you can return it. As far as I know, that call tag never did show up and it's going on 20 days as of this writing.
