i bought windows xp coa over the phone. found them on pricewatch with a big (*IN STOCK NOW* Windows XP Pro COA License (More arrived today) now 10 days later still waiting on that promise. ups time-in-transit has me down for 5-day delivery. givin the normal 24hr prossing/shipping time that delivery date passed on thursday.

they e-mailed me a link to my invoice witch didn't work. when i figured the format of the link i fixed it and found somthing. after requesting the sales person repeat my shipping information 2 times they still managed to get it wrong on my invoice. i was billed but the liklyhood that the package will just be returned undeliverable is high.

Newegg has good list of products and fast shipping. i ordered 2 machines in part form for a total of 16 parts. i assembled them and one had a motherboard with a faulty memory slot. ordered a second after recieving an rma # for the first. the second came doa.
the boards were retail and looked new so i can't fault newegg at all for them being doa. after speaking with carl he send me out a 3rd board from a diffrent manufacture shipping it 1 day at no cost to me. he will also refund me the doa boards and the $20 s&h on the second board.

the board shipped same day and i should recieve that board shortly.

Reseller rating of 7.5 doesn't seem correct given how poorly they handle their customers.

what i would expect is 24-48 hours to receive tracking number and 3 days to ship but i haven't recieved any info from them yet.

0 live help. 800 numbers goes to voice mail and long distance number goes to an answer machine.

A small order of 5 CD-RW Drives takes 5 days to process? Now they have the money when can I expect them to ship?

Correct way to handle the problem is to inform the customer that the item is backordered and give them the option of canceling and ordering else ware...

But pcsupplysoruce opts to leave the customer in the dark and feed them crap...

After 5 days they take the funds and now 24hr later no tracking number I am left dangling in the breeze.. That’s not how it's done folks.

If and when I receive my parts I will not be ordering from them again.

Didnt honor there price on nexttag.com. prices were diffrent on the website but i put in a notice for a request for nexttag quoted price in the notice and coupon section of the website's checkout. even on the online invoice that was sent to me had the nexttag price request. still i was charged the website price and they over charged me about $20.

USPS priority package took longer then expected. ordered on 27th arrived 6th.

Update:
i recieved a holographic oem disk and a key that was typed on a plain white sticker insted of a coa sticker. since i was charged the website price and didnt get what i requested. id like a refund.

After talking to a phone rep i was told i ordered the wrong version. witch is wierd because i ordered the product that they had linked through nexttag. so i am told i need to fill out a rma form for the software and return it for the version that i originally requested. i dont know of any company that will allow the return of software that have visable keys. especially Windows XP. if the coa turns out to be a piece of paper with the same key am i any better off spending the time and money to ship this thing back to save $20.

This is Stupid!!

Update: i called again after noticing there site posts *No returns will be accepted on products with visible key codes.* i was told its "ok because they can do that since they have been bought out". wasnt it a few weeks ago microsoft cracked down on piracy and created the "Validation Tool".
