This store is a highly advertised one among DIY guitar effects community and I really really do not know why. It appears many established builders refer to this store blindly.

They have the absolute high prices of the industry, they do not have a good customer service, website design is very bad (even the stock list is not in order, just random), there is zero to none details of the products with almost no pictures of them, they have very high shipping costs, etc.

I ordered three times from this store. Everytime my order was shipped about 3-4 days later, I was charged with ridiculously high shipping for very light items via USPS First Class Mail (which costs around 1-2 dollars) without proper packaging. Last time I ordered 10 very thin drill bits, smaller then 1/64, told them I was in a rush on monday. They answered my e-mail on wednesday and tell me they will ship on Friday.

For conlusion, I tried 3 times and they failed to meet the hype. Both pedalpartsplus.com and effectsconnection.com have way better prices and so very much better customer service.

When I ever bored to death in the middle of the night (I work at nights), I sometimes read how people complains about big companies and their worst customer services. It is really entartaining to me.LOL

anyway, I was expecting a similiar they-screwed-me-from-head-to-toe type of reviews about newegg too (not that they ever let me down), well I was wrong. Appearantly, many satisfied people and me had the best experience with them.

I placed a large order from them, mostly components. They shipped right away and they were shipped from 3 different warehouses. However, shipping cost is litterally nothing. I recieved 3 huge boxes with 3 day shipping for only 25 dollars. Recently, I shipped a 4 pound stuff with UPS and they charged me 25 dollars :) Talk about LOW SHIPPING RATES!!

Then one of the items did not work with either two of my laptops (security lock). I tried it after a week and had already threw out the blister. I returned it without the original package even though it is reminded. They refunded me anyway. Can't be more happier!!

I am a loyal customer of All Electronics Corp and I believe the time has come to write my experiences for the good fellows who would like to know.

I placed around 15 orders with the total value exceeding $1000. I must say I have been happy 99% of the time. They have a fantastic return service (not that I had to use, but it gives confidence), fair shipping charge, very fast processing times, FANTASTIC customer service, great inventory for fair prices, etc

I would like to talk about two things that impressed me more than others.

They have an excellent customer service. One time they actually called my home to inform one of the items was sold out and asked me what to do with the shipment. If I want to hold it, or cancel my order, or a replacement will be fine. Wow!! Who does that? Not an e-mail, not a hidden message somewhere at my account, actual phone call with a person - not a machine - at the other hand. The item was not important to me, so I told them ship the rest of my order anyway.

The other thing is item descriptions and pictures. They literally write anything to know about an item. If they didn't know something specific that might effect the item, they also write it down. (the company is a surplus outlet and they are not always in touch with the manufacturers or distributers, so it is ok not to know every little detail). With the good quality pictures and description with necessay details, it is really hard for the things go wrong.

I say, buy with confidence. I am sure they won't let anybody down.

For your consideration...

I am very upset about this company. I ordered some items in quantities less than 10, to see if their service was ok and it turned out ok. Nothing special, but I found some good deals.

Then I placed my second order, wanted to purchase 40 switches along with some other stuff. I waited 4 days and sent an e-mail asking if my order was shipped. No response in 4 days. Then I e-mailed again and no response again. Then I called them and had been told one of the item was backordered and they were holding my order. No heads up, no notices, nothing till that point. I was asked if it was ok, I told no, but what can I say. Ok WAIT FOR THE GOOD PART.

My previous orders was shipped after 8 days and I was aware of the fact that small businesses do not always have good customer service and let it go. Than I gave my third order and waited for 2 days, then I sent an e-mail telling that "please do not hold my order, ship whatever you can." this times I recieved the response in 24 hours, saying that "due to excessive complaint, we cancelled your acount and order". Honest to God, I only said "no, it is not ok, but what can I say" No further comments.

As a conclusion, I am very dissatisfied with them, they caused me to loose some business and have the arrongance tto tell I complaint a lot. I have yet to see or hear something like that before.
