As usual, great service fron Dangerden. It takes them a little while to ship the product, but it is clearly stated that they ship 3-5 days after placing the order. The only thing I wish they would do is to have an 800 number so that you could contact them by voice, in case of a problem with your order or you would like to change something on your order.

My first order from them; very fast on filling and shipping the order. Will buy from them again in the future. Also, a great bargain on the 2 CDRW drives I bought.

This is my second order from them and no problems at all with ordering and they sent prompt notification of shipping.

UPDATE:6/2/06 This company continues to impress me with their prompt and personal service. I ordered a Delta GFB fan from them and they didn't have the wiring configuration on their website. I called them and Gary answered the phone. He was great to deal with and changed the wiring configuration around on this monster fan to meet my needs. Sidewindercomputers is the kind of store other vendors need to strive to be like. They are one of the very best online e-tailers I've ever dealt with and I will continue to give them my business.

I placed this order on November 13 and I was notified that they shipped on November 14, which is good shipping time. I went to work at a remote location on November 15 and called my wife around Nov. 20 and the package had arrived with no problems. I got in from work on Nov. 29 and check my order and find that they had sent me 5-92mm case fans instead of the 5-80mm case fans that I had ordered. I notified them this morning (Nov. 30) and they sent a reply back stating for me to ship them the fans back at my expense and they would credit me for the shipping charges and send the correct fans to me. I don't see how they expect to pay my shipping charges as they won't be listed on the package and since they are the ones who screwed up, they should have emailed me a prepayed shipping label to me for shipping, instead of me having to fork out more money. Also they could have cross-shipped the fans instead of making me wait for them to receive the returned fans for them to ship the proper fans that I've already payed for. These fans aren't for an immediate project, but if they were, I'd be sh!t out of luck if I needed those fans in a hurry. Plus, I don't know how well I can trust this company to be honest about receiving the returned fans; it would be so easy for them to say that they never received them and screw me further. Frankly, their customer service and return policy sucks in my opinion. It's not like I ordered the wrong parts; they sent the wrong parts and now I have to go through all this and trust them to get it right and also reimburse my shipping expenses for their screwup. It will probably be a cold day in hell before I order from this company again. I will also post a followup on this return process; how long it takes and if they cover my shipping expenses. They have great prices but if they can't get your order right, then it isn't worth the hassle. I will stick to buying from more reputable people like Newegg, KD Computers or Sidewindercomputers from now on and give these folks a wide berth.

UPDATE: 12/11/02 @ 10:00 AM CST
I shipped the fans in question back to SVC on 12/04/2002 via USPS Priority Confirmed and the USPS website showed delivery on 12/06/2002 at 10:31 AM. I still have had no information as to whether they have shipped the correct fans back to me yet to complete my order that I've already payed for, or have I heard anything on the reimbursement of the $5.85 it cost me to send their screwup back. I will be going to work at a remote location for 2 weeks tonight, but if I've not received my correct fans by the time I get back in from work, I will be contacting the USPS about commencing mail fraud charges against them as they shipped via the USPS.

UPDATE: 12/26/02- I got in from 2 weeks at work today and the correct fans were finally shipped to me, but there was no reimbursment of my return shipping charges. I will not ever buy another thing from these asshats as they aren't worth the trouble to deal with!

UPDATE: 5/15/06 - Ordered 2 fans. Ordering was easy and shipping options were decent. Product was delivered fairly timely. However, one of the fans was defective, which isn't svcompucycle's fault. My problem is with their RMA policies, which can only be done online according to the rep I talked with on the phone. I also had problems getting in touch with them about the defective fan by calling the number on their invoice, with some kind of semi-porn sounding computer message coming up. After talking with the rep by phone, I then went to their website and filled out their RMA request page and submitted it. This was on a Friday in the middle of the day. I didn't get a RMA authorization until the following Monday, which is very slow compared to the vendors I normally use for most of my purchases (Newegg and Sidewinder Computers). I was also not offered a chance to have my replacement fan for the defective one cross-shipped either. This fan is intended for a time sensitive project, which has been delayed very much by their slow RMA process. I am still waiting for my replacement fan and have heard nothing from them updating me as to the status of my RMA. It has been right on a week since I sent the defective fan back for replacement via priority mail.

With service like this, I kind of doubt that I will purchase any more items from svcompucycle. I will also be updating my ratings on them at resellerratings too, as well as voicing my opinions of their poor service on the overclockers.com forums.

UPDATE:6/2/06 I got in from work today and the "supposedly replacement fan" had come in while I was at work on a drilling rig offshore and went to test the replacement fan. As I half expected, these ripoffs sent me the very same defective fan back to me that I had shipped back to them. They didn't even bother to test the fan out, but just shipped the same defective crap back to me and now I have a defective fan but they also got me for shipping this defective fan back to them with no replacement. This is a poor vendor to do business with, so stay away!

I was a little leary of ordering from these people at first because their reseller rating is low compared to the companies I usually do business with but their price on the A7N8X mobo I ordered was $13 cheaper than Newegg with free shipping so I decided to try them out. There were no problems placing the order and getting confirmation of the order. It took about 36 hours for them to process and ship my order via Airborne, who is not my favorite shipping company, but Airborne did a good job on this order. I received my order today and it was well packed and the mobo box has all the parts that are supposed to come with the A7N8X. I would order in the future from this company if they are significantly cheaper than Newegg and keep the free shipping offer. There were no problems getting the shipping and tracking info from GameVE either as they emailed that info when the order shipped.

First time I've ordered from them. Processed and shipped order in a timely fashion. Found package to be well wrapped and protected and my order complete. A pleasant transaction experience with these folks and would do business with them again in the future.

I had bookmarked their site several months ago and decided to try them out because their prices on case fans were so good. I picked out all the fans I needed to order, then called them instead of placing the order online because they weren't listed here at resellerratings. They were very helpful on the phone, letting me know the exact status of the quantity of case fans that were in stock that I was ordering and their shipping rates were very reasonable. After placing the order by phone, I received email notification within 2 hours that my order was shipped. My package arrived in the time specified by the shipping method(3 day air, in my case) and the package was well packed and secure. The products were exactly as described on their website. I will order from these people again.

First time ordering from these people and it was a great experience. I called them up and ordered over the phone as this was my first order from them and was checking them out. They were very courteous and helpful and took my order over the phone even though they are not really set up to take orders like that. I had no problems ordering my Tbred1700 JIUHB 0307, used 2 day air for shipping and it arrived at 2 business days, well packaged. I installed the processor in my K7T Turbo2 board and booted up overclocked to 1800 MHz, no problems. Presently have it at 1900 MHz and default vcore, no problems. All in all, a very good shopping experience with eXcaliberPC.

After reading all the recent negative comments about this vendor, who used to be reliable a few years ago, I decided to look over my records in past email from this order a year ago and make a few comments. I received my order OK from them a year ago. However, it seems that many folks here have complained about not having any contact number with them and sure enough, there is no phone number that I could find anywhere on their website. So I went looking online to see what I could dig up and on this search here, http://www.switchboard.com/bin/cgidir.dll?MEM=1&PR=108&LNK=3%3A155&QV=&C=&L=buy.com&T=Aliso+Viejo&S=CA&Search.x=19&Search.y=7 , I found the following information:

Buycom Inc
85 Enterprise
Aliso Viejo, CA 92656-2614 Phone: (949) 389-2000

Business Types: Computer & Equipment Dealers

I just tried the number and I got a machine message stating: "Welcome to buy.com, the internet superstore". ;-)

So go after them my fellow online shoppers. :-)

After reading all the recent negative reviews, this vendor is now off of my online shopping list.

I ordered an m0 stepping P4 2.4c processor from them and had some trouble with their cart and it didn't send my credit card data into them. After 3 days of no response, I went to their website and fired off a query on my order to them. Within 2 hours I had a nice reply from Larry with Azzo telling me that for some reason my cc info wasn't with the order and he would gladly take the info and process my order. I emailed back the info needed and he promptly shipped my processor out the same day. This is the third time I've dealt with Azzo and all 3 times have been a good experience. I was really impressed with the prompt response to my query on my order and Larry worked with me to expedite my order, since I was going to work for 2 weeks in a remote location the next day. Their prices aren't the lowest, but they are a good place to go if you are looking for a particular stepping for a cpu and they don't rip you off on shipping charges either.

I would definitely buy from Azzo again.

Good prices, easy to navigate store, prompt shipping with no delays, and tracking info provided. The remanufactured inkjet cartridges look professionally done, but I haven't used them yet so I can't remark about the printing quality of the cartridges. I would do business with them again.

Somewhat limited in the items they sell, but if you need a Bios Savior, this is the place to shop. They have great prices on them and very prompt order handling and shipping. I was well informed on the order processing and shipping also. Another plus is the low shipping rates too. I would definitely buy from this vendor again.

I ordered an oem license of Windows XP Pro for a barebones laptop I am building and saved myself better than $50 over buying the oem XP Pro cd and COA, since I already own two oem XP Pro disks. I called in the order and the lady that took my order was courteous and knowledgable and efficient in the order process. I received email confirmation about my order in less than one hour and my order was shipped less than an hour after receiving my first email confirming my order. Great people to do business with and I will use them again in the future.
