DO NOT PURCHASE FROM FACTORY DIRECT SUPERSTORE.COM. I wish I would have done my homework more thoroughly before placing an order with factorydirectsuperstore.com. After reading these reviews and from my own personal experience, I realize that this company/website is a scam. There are too many similar stories with the same questionable practices. My story is that On Oct 26, 2010 I placed an order for a Dyson D25 and after 5 weeks of waiting I contacted them via email for an update only to be told by Chris via email that he had just tried to call me to tell me that the order was still on backorder. There had been no call or message left from them. I spoke to Harry, the supervisor, when I called them and was told to call back the following week with an update. A week later I called and spoke to Chris first who told me again that he had just tried to call me ( not true) about the order and transferred me to Harry who told me that the vacuum was still on backorder and offered to cancel the order if I wanted to. I requested that the order be canceled immediately which he agreed and he would send the cancellation request to billing right away. He also said that it would take 30 days for the refund to show up on my credit card. I asked why my credit card was charged before the item was shipped and I was told that this is the way they do business and that it is stated on the time of the online purchase. I do not recall having read this message anywhere. Bottom line is that this company does not practice good business. I am reporting and disputing my charges with my credit card and will be reporting them to the better business bureau. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM FACTORY DIRECTORY SUPERSTORE.COM.
