I do not recommend this store to anyone out there. My order was placed on Feb. 11, 2006 and I still have not received my order after two weeks and two email inqueries. That is way too long to wait for an order, considering it is only three items: an external HD enclosure and two flashlights. I have emailed the costomer service twice and received answers that my order will be shipped in two days, but both times I was lied to. Not only is my order not sent out, but I can clearly see that they are lying by checking the online order tracking, which shows that my order is still inside the warehouse, waiting to be shipped. My order has been in the warehouse for a week, now, and it still has not been shipped. I am currently considering cancelling my order and contacting the Better Business Bearu. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE.

There had been lots of debates on how well this store is, but from my personal point of view it had been a good store. Though the prices in their store, as well as shipping, is a bit high but the customer service and return policy more than makes up for it. I have placed many orders and have had no complaints about my orders. Just one word of advice- avoid the refurbished videocards unless you're willing to take the chance, or you can afford to take the chance. I've personally had both good and bad experiences when purchasing refubished items from this store. All in all, I like this store.

Compgeeks is the kind of store that sells low priced, cheap electronic items. That's not to say it is a bad store, but far from it. I had placed many orders with them and have been happy with my orders. Occasionally, you will find a gem of an item which sells for a lot less than other stores (such as Virgin's mp3 player pendent, or Biostar T-force MATX motherboards), but those items goes out of stock really fast. I guess I'd call Compgeeks a fun place to check back occasionally, just to see what they have.

I placed an order with the site on Sep. 21, 2005, Wednesday. They immediately charged my card after the order. After waiting through the weekends, I did not receive any response from them other than that I have successfully placed the order. I checked the status of my order and it was always 'in the wharehouse for processing'. Comes Monday, I decided to cancel the order and did it. They will not respond to cancellations, or inquries, by email and the site does not have any information on how to cancel orders (unlike other sites). I was forced to call them to cancel, but the trouble does not end there. Now, I have to constantly call them and email them about refunding me what they charged. It is now Sep. 28, 2005 and still no refund. Not even after two calls and one email requesting for it. Beware of this store if you plan to place an order through them. This is my first experience with this store and it will be my last. (Updated November 18, 2005) Now, it seems that this store is out to ruin my credibility, simply because I would not change my review. How very 'nice' of them. Avoid this store at all cost, if you do not want harassment from writing a bad review.

“It is a shame this poster is using resellerratings for their own agenda. The whole story is that our site does clearly state how to cancel an order, this customer was contacted right away that his cancelation was proccessed. As for the refund, we have no control how long it takes for some C.C. companies to post a refund, some take days some take weeks, and some just make it on your next billing cycle.”
