I placed an order for an Airmar transducer after the close of business on New Year\u0027s eve. Early on January 2nd I got a phone call from an incredibly helpful and smart young woman to verify the type of connection I wanted, and on January 4th it was waiting for me when I go home! Meanwhile, the chartplotter that I had ordered from another internet vendor is \u0022on backorder\u0022, and who knows what that really means.
