1 overall star, Really fast shipment, which definitely surprised me seeing as how far it traveled. However, I'm having problems with mine. The battery has been charging for almost a day now and will not go beyond 53%. Not only that, but it also drains way faster than my old one...which I've had for three years now. This battery is definitely defective. I have e-mailed the company and will change my review based on their response, if I get one. I've tried their online chat multiple times without ever being able to get a hold of a person.

update: 1 overall star, Macy has contacted me and instructed me to discharge the battery down to 2% and then try to recharge it up to 100%. After charging it for over 8 hours the battery has gone from 2% to 6%. I e-mailed Macy with my results and explaining the continued difficulties I am having with the battery.

update: 4 overall stars, so I've been contacted by the manager, Beyon, who has attempted to remedy my situation. After following numerous instructions and checking the ac adapter that I have, the problem still exists. Beyon has been helpful but I was insulted when she suggested I try searching Google to solve my problems. Right now, I have paid an additional $12 to have them ship me a new battery. I will be keeping the defective one and hopefully the new one will be better. If I receive it and there are no problems then I will change my review to 5 stars.

Update: Down to one star. I have waited two weeks for the new battery and due to them shipping it via USPS as opposed to DHL (the way the original was sent), I have yet to receive it. I am not running out of time to get my refund and still don't have a working battery.

I made the mistake of ordering without checking resellerratings...now I'm paying for it. I ordered a textbook on January 1st, 2011. 17 days later and I have yet to receive another e-mail from them. I am trying to cancel my order now. NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THEM. They are by far the worst company on the web.

WOW, worst service ever, had a computer delivered through UPS on Feb. 12th, was suppose to arrive on Feb. 16th, due to snow (which i expected) it was delayed until Monday Feb. 19th, which is a holiday but they said they would still be delivering, so I waited through the weekend with the hope of getting it on the 19th, I wake up Monday morning only to receive a message saying "THE RECEIVER IS ON A HOLIDAY. DELIVERY WILL BE ATTEMPTED WHEN THE RECEIVER RETURNS;PACKAGE WILL BE DELIVERED NEXT BUSINESS DAY-NO SATURDAY GUARANTEE" Now I am thinking wait a minute I'm not on holiday, I can still sign for it....I call customer service and deal with the rudest person ever. She explains to me that since I am at school and the school is closed that they cannot deliver until tomorrow. She then goes on to question why I had it sent to a school adress in the first place. The conversation went a little like this:

UPS: Why did you have it sent to a school address in the first place sir, you should have had it sent to another address

Me: Um...Let's see, because that's where my current residence is, where else was I suppose to send it???

UPS: Well that wasn't such a good idea.

Me: You are being extremely rude and "b***hy" towards me

UPS: so is your mother, I need to move on, good bye sir

Me: What?!?! What is your name? I want to speak with a supervisor I'm not done yet.

::UPS Hangs Up::

I couldnt believe it. I immediately called back and demanded a supervisor, like other people have said they are extremely generic and do not care at all, simply saying over and over "I'm extremely sorry" Since I was unable to get the rude workers name there was nothing that could have been done about her. Now I am waiting for a call from the distribution center to see if they will allow me to come pick it up on my own today. I can understand why it was late, but to treat me the way that representative did is extremely unacceptable. How dare she question me as to why I sent it to where I did, and how dare she say that about my mother. I will never ship UPS again if i can help it. What a nightmare.

Wow, Newegg does it again, I ordered new Corsair yesterday morning, used ground shipping, received it today at noon, I could not be any happier, absolutely amazing!!!

this is a pending order, i just placed the order and am waiting for the process to take place. I called twice before i made my order to ask some simple questions. i asked if they would over clock my system for me. a nice man answered the phone and informed me that they would overclock the system but only if i ordered the moonsoon cooling system. otherwise the system would be unstable. this information was very helpful and i ordered the moonsoon cooling system. i then called again to find out where i should put my request for overclocking. another nice man answered the phone and told me. so far all has gone really well. i am hoping the rest of this process continues as well as it has gone so far. ordering was simple (i loved the free shipping) and the support has so far met my expectations. I will keep everyone updated to how I make out.

UPDATE 1-31-07
I received a phone call yesterday to confirm my order. the shipping address was different from the billing adress of my credit card. vigor asked me to add the shipping address to my card but my issuer would not let me. vigor decided that it would be ok and then charged my card. so far everything has gone smoothly and i have found the customer service satisfactory. i can't wait for my system to arrive. will update again with any new news.

UPDATE 2/6/07
Called today to find out what the status of my order is. Was told that it is still in production and that they should begin testing it on Thursday 2/8 and to call back then and they will know better as to when I can expect to receive it. I had them overclock my system so i'm sure it may take a little longer then normal. No big deal. I can't wait!!! Will update again with any new info that may come along. So far so good.

UPDATE 2/9/07
I received an email yesterday from vigor. Apparently my system failed the first testing and was found unstable. They decided to upgrade my power supply from the 500 watt one to the 535 watt one, free of charge. I am very very happy with this and am extremely happy that they updated me so soon on what had happened and was extremely pleased to here of this free upgrade. It made for a nice surprsie birthday gift. I really cannot wait to get the system. I am very excited!!!

I received my tracking number today!!!!! I cannot wait, sooooo excited right now, it's on its way!!!!

well my computer was suppose to arrive friday but did not due to weather, then it was suppose to arrive today but since my college is closed UPS wouldn't deliver so now I have to wait till tomorrow, I must say UPS is horrible, I made sure to leave them a "nice" review (no fault of Vigor though), I went on to newegg and ordered some extra memory today to add to the machine when it arrives, I had only purchased one gig from Vigor so I had been planing on upgrading that eventually, my comp will be coming tomorrow and I'll be sure to keep everyone updated as to how I make out with it

I have had the computer for about a week now and I must say it is amazing. I had some start up issues originally but that was because of my mouse, i realized this and fixed it myself, I contacted Vigor to ask about adding more ram and if it would break the warranty, the man said it would not and informed me of how to do it, he then said if i had any questions to call back and they could help. AMAZING, I would definitely buy from them again,the best computer i have ever owned and great customer service, i could not be happier

Horrible!!! stay away, bought laptop, m550, arrived ontime, booted it up and it ran amazingly, a few days later i was playing a game and it randomly shut down after 10 minutes or so, i called tech support suspecting it was the video card over heating like many other customers have experienced, tech support was stupid, they knew absolutely little, it is pretty sad when they cant figure out how to burn a cd, i was three steps ahead of the guy throughout the entire phone call,after running many many tests and spending hours on the phone they suggested reinstalling windows, upon reboot it ran worse then ever before finally i had had enough and i canceled my order, i sent it back and had to wait weeks for them to process it and refund me my money, everytime i called i received a different story about the status of my return, eventually i got my money, minus the cost to ship and the 15% restocking fee (something i dont think i should have been charged), i would never ever recommend this company to anyone, it is impossible to get to anyone beyond the customer service reps and the tech help is unintellifent and useless, biggest waste of my time and money

UPDATE 1/24/07:
I recieved an email from Lisa of Alienware. She had read my review posted here and looked into my experience. I was refunded the shipping and restocking fee. I appreciate this very much. Finally Alienware has been helpful. Thank you Lisa.
