I have been ordering supplies for reloading and shooting from MidwayUSA for many years. They have a huge selection, competative prices, excellent customer service and only once did I have to exchange something under warranty and that was easy and hassle free. Two thumbs up in my books.

Ordered a mobo/cpu combo on Thursday (site says 1-2 days to shipping). Called Monday and told will be ready to ship Wednesday. Called Wednesday and told it will definitely ship Thursday .... well after s/w Sales Dept it was shipped today (Friday).

First time I have dealt with unitedmicro.com and not real impressed with customer service nor the sales dept but giving them the benefit of the doubt. I will reserve my final comments until after receiving and testing of mobo/cpu combo ...

... not 1-2 days to shipping as the site says. Actually 10 days order to door. The mobo/cpu with heatsink/fan attached arrived well packaged and with all cables, manuals etc. Cannot say if this was actually tested an/or burnt in but it did work fine and I did a 24 hour burn in any way.

Replaced the generic aluminum heatsink/fan that came with the P4 2.8Gh 800MHz FSB Prescott CPU with a COOLERMASTER ISB-V73 AR4 Copper heatsink/fan. Also used Artic Silver thermal compound. Both these items were purchased from newegg.com 3 days after the unitedmicro.com order and arrived 3 days before it.

When speaking with unitedmicro sales dept I found they had absolutely no idea when or where the order was within their system and did not seem to really care either.

PROS

Excellent price
Well packaged

CONS

Extremely slow order to ship time
Sales dept has almost nil customer service but were available when called.

Would I buy parts from them again.? Probably not, newegg.com's customer service and quick turn around times cause less aggrivation.

I ordered a OCD-33333 full ATX case, customised with 2 x 80mm @ 50cfm side blowhole fans. I ordered this on Saturday, the office obviously closed and got an invoice confirmation email first thing Monday. I noticed the invoice had the wrong fan configuration and emailed them with the corrections and not 15 minutes later received the reply and a new invoice that showed the correct configuration.

The case arrived today, Feb 25th, that's nine days with two weekends in that equation. Case arrived in perfect condition to my front door. Not bad seeing it came from BC, Canada, through customs and shipped UPS road to Southern Illinois.

The case itself is sturdy and well made and NO burrs or sharp edges that could wear through or cut cables. It came with lockable casters and screws, etc were in sufficient quantity to mount motherboard and drives and devices I needed to mount.

NOTE : * indicates what I purchased from AMK.

This product from AMK did exactly what it was suppose to do. On my system the CPU would hover around the 100-104F mark and the case around the 90-92F area. With the AMK OCD-33333 in the configuration above, has never got above CPU 89F and case 75F. For those whom need the maths done thats approx 15F cooler CPU and case temperatures. Mission accomplished thanks in part to the AMK OCD-33333.

Nothing like an excellent product and an exceptionally good online shopping experience to register a vote of confidence in a company.

Would I recommend AMK to friends and would I use them again myself? You bet your buns I will.

I have used 3dcool for my PC cooling requirements, fans, filters etc and the prices are very comparable to any other online store. Shipping times have been exceptional the 2 times I have purchased from them. Have a question, just email and you get a prompt reply.

To sum up, just one word ... EXCELLENT
