While I try to report bad service so the responsible companies can be avoided, I also like to commend good ones. I've placed several orders with REI and have received great service so far. The website seems to have real-time updating, so I won't have to order a product only to later learn it is unavailable, especially if it is something I need and then no longer have a chance to get elsewhere. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

After more than a month, had not received anything other than auto-replies to any inquire to my order placed with outdoorandbeyond.com. This company seems quite shady. They operate outdoorandbeyond.com and toolsandbeyond.com with all their domains are handled by a private registrar (myprivateregistration.com), so determining their real address is impossible without a court order.

The 'fax' number of (636) 773-3325 is in Missouri, but they claim to be in California, though no record exists with the Sec of State using any name they provide. Only after starting a dispute with paypal, will an email address of chargeback@massmartholdings.com be given before the dispute is to reach the Paypal resolution center.

I'd definitely recommend doing business with any company that refuses to properly identify itself, fails to register with the state, hides or fakes the contact info, and even photoshops (poorly) their company name onto a generic building on their front page suggesting it is their warehouse while using stock photos of an operations center.

Do a google search for this company and you will find a lot of dissatisfied consumer, most with the same issue or merchandise not being sent and absolutely no contact from the company until chargebacks are made.

I ordered several food products (this was the cheapest company I could find that sold Mountain House dehydrated meals). I ordered around 2:30AM on Wednesday morning and had the full order on my doorstep by 5:30PM Thursday afternoon. Quite pleased.

The item ordered and price were as expected, however the company made no mention on the description page that the item was grey market, thus making it ineligable for rebates or warranty work. This should be made clear and is a bit misleading if it is left out.

My experience with them was great. I was looking for a Zalman CPU cooler and saw through pricegrabber.com that they had it for $54 with free shipping, which was at the time about $10 less than any other retailer. When I tried to order, the system kept trying to add shipping even though it specifically listed free shipping. I called and spoke to Steve that researched the issue and found that the free shipping was suppose to apply only to a higher, previous price. Without my prompting, he offered to honor the deal and ensure that I got the item at the listed price with free shipping and he personally waited as I placed the order so it could be adjusted. I am quite pleased with the level of customer service and would look to use them again for my purchases.

My experience with this company was outstanding. I had ordered a Garmin 76 GPS, and after using it for a couple of days, I realized that it wasn't enough to meet my needs. I inquired about a return and was told that it would be fine to exchange it for an upgraded model, without a restocking fee. I ordered the second one and shipped back the first. By the time they could process the return, my 'virtual' credit card had expired. The company took the time to send me a check to cover the refund, which meant they had to eat the credit card transaction fees. Besides their having the lowest price I could find at the time, the level of service was excellent. When I upgrade my GPS in the future, I will definitely use this company again.

Placed order for 2 DVDs. Order was canceled with NO explaination or reasoning given. Order was simply removed from order history as if it was never made. Seemingly unprofessional way to handle a business.

After seaching on the web, I found Tiger Direct had the 3D glasses I wanted and were nearly $20 cheaper than anyone else. My order was processed Monday morning and it arrived at my door Tuesday morning as advertised. I have however noticed many people having problems and would be hesitant to purchasing big ticket items.
