I wouldn't buy anything at this site again. They sold me a harddrive that was recommended for my computer by their website. It was the wrong one. After I purchased it I called and the person I talked to, Andy, insisted it was the right one. He didn't know what he was talking about. I sent a fax with a photo to show the different size of the drives. I also faxed a copy of the webpage on their site that recommended this HD for my X40. Dan S. sent me an email and told me I had searched for the particular HD on Google and knew what I wanted and their website HAD NOT referred me to that HD. In essence he was telling me I was lying. Then I called and talked to Dan S.and he finally admitted that there was an error on the website and they had corrected it. He was not going to admit the error, until I kept pressing him about my copy of his webpage on 7/5/09. So he was lying. Because I placed the order on 7/13, after the correction 7/06, he said it was no longer an error and I had to find the harddrive by another search at their website to order it. I told him I ordered based on their recommendation on 7/05. I didn't question whether it was the correct HD since it was recommended on their site. Most of the sites like these have search engines to match up computers with components. I told him consumers make purchases based on the expertise of the seller. After admitting the error on their website he fell back on the "you can send it back but we are going to charge you 20% restocking fee anyway" even though they made the mistake. His reasoning was that he couldn't sell the returned HD as new since I had opened it. I told him I wouldn't bother to send it back since I had already paid for expedited shipping and would have to pay shipping again and also be docked 20% off my purchase price. I also bought the Apricorn software to clone the new harddrive to my old harddrive and I am also the proud owner of that without a harddrive to clone. All in all these people don't care to make good on their mistakes. They make their mistakes your mistakes. As far as experts go on Hard drive upgrades they don't know much. Beware I had to send a picture to prove my point. And he lied to me until I kept pressing him for an answer.

“We apologize for any miscommunication about the transaction. During our last communication we offered several solutions none of which you thought were satisfactory. A restocking fee on open hard drives is an industry standard practice on non defective items. We are sorry that your experience was unsatisfactory, we hope that you will try us again. ”
