I am satisfied with my order with SuperMediaStore.com, invoice number supermediastore-1554315. I ordered a SuperMediaStore USB 2.0 SDHC Card Reader Combo and the process was prompt and shipment was reliable.

Warning buying ANYTHING from crapusa - you can't find a place where services are nearly as horrible, pathetic and traumatic. I once bought something on crapusa.com and needed to return it (new and unopened and within a week!) to a local crap store, and experienced the most outrageous attitude from a store manager. First he stupidly and stubbornly insisted that anything purchased online mustn't be returned to store. When I educated him that as long as the item was carried in store, he must accept the return. But he continued his stupidity like a real ass, and refused to call his supervior for clarification, saying that he as the manager said he wouldn't accept the return and that was it. I was purely lucky that there happened to be a computer at the store that was connected to crapusa.com, and I showed him the policies expressly stated on their website. Then he pulled out his cell and starting making calls. Although I finally fought to win, it was an experience everybody should want to avoid. The manager's name is Guardial Klair, at the crap store on 3149 Steven's Creek Blvd in San Jose, CA.

When I asked where I could file a complaint against him, he almost jumped over to eagerly show me that I should call 1-800-crapusa. His reaction towards this shocked me more than his beastly treatment of customers, as his attitude was almost like begging me to complain against him. Why? Because he knows that there is not a freaking thing that anybody can do about his criminal actions, and that crapusa craporation will certainly reward him for his criminal behavior towards customers who FEED THIS CRAPPY COMPANY!!!

Guess what? After complaining to crapusa corporate for half a dozen times, I didn't even get a single response.

crapusa borders on illegal management.

For several months, I was impressed with Amazon's care for their customers, including returns, rebate issues and prices, among others. In particular, I used to be able to get help from Amazon with regard to rebate issues.

All these have changed for the worse now. Amazon has never been the best to ship orders in a timely fashion, and with most rebate offers having near cruel terms and conditions, it has now become a problem not to be overcome. For rebates that have to be postmarked 10 or 15 days after orders, you can pretty much forget about getting your money back. And Amazon is now shaking off any of their responsibilities of failing to ship the products on time for the offers. This has degraded them to a dispicable low that can only be matched by eCost.

Bottom line: be very careful with products with rebate offers.

I just don't understand why anybody would shop at a store that charges at least $10 for shipping. Take, for example, a 256MB Kingston SD card, which is being sold there at $10, so you will be paying $20 plus taxes. You could very well buy this exactly same item elsewhere at exactly the same (or even lower) price with free shipping and possibly tax-free. With this kind of fees, this is a VERY expensive store. I will never shop there.

Unless I am missing something?

Worst combination of eCost, web-rebates.com and Syntax! My rebate has been stalled for about half a year now and there is not the remotest hope of seeing the check. Syntax is criminal.

Good price and free shipping very attractive. However, order was not shipped on the second day as promised. I had to call to push it. Somewhat satisfied.

Pacakge came quite on time, which is good, but without a packing slip. This surprised me, as most other resellers would put one in, especially when a product comes with a rebate offer. Had to call them to confirm that printouts of the order on their website could substitute for the slip. Don't know if it'll work.
