The product: Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000, two keys did not work, and the light on the keyboard didn't function. Called to return same day I first used the product, was told by two different people they had no more available, I could get a refund, or swap for another product - and pay the difference if it was a higher priced product. They have 8 more of the exact model product available, but at a higher price. Received information to return the product, was told I had to pay the shipping - as the product is defective, I wasn't thrilled as I have to do that if I send it to Microsoft themselves. Contacted Microsoft directly and am returining the product to them instead, and getting the replacement from them. Will not order from CompuVest again.
2/21/12 - Today I received a follow-up response from Compuvest offering to send a return shipping label and a refund in a very well written and professional response. Unfotunately, offering it now is too late, I've already returned the product to Microsoft - they received it, and have shipped the new one to me already. Had Compuvest's response come within even a few days of when I sent my complaint, it would have reached me in time, but a few weeks is too late. Thank you, though, for your response.
