I run an AmeriCorps program and therefore am tasked to train teams of many adults every year in skills like communication, problem solving, disability awareness, teamwork, etc. I frequently find toys at Fat Brain that can be used as training aids. They provide high quality, sturdy toys that may say that an 8 year old can do them, but they give an adult a run for their money. I have found no other seller that has the variety and quality of Fat Brain Toys.
I also buy creative toys for my desktop that I use during recruiting season and I buy puzzles for my adult family members. Probably the only thing I do not do is buy toys for children. Fat Brain toys has products that make you think and work things out, perfect for adult learners.
I have had an opportunity to speak with Fat Brain Toys' customer service agents on several occasions. They are very informed and very resourceful. I did once receive a toy that had a manufacturing error. They replaced it immediately. They asked me to donate the damaged item, which freed me from the hassle of returning it.
Toys from Fat Brain are not cheap. I pay more because I like what they sell -- good quality, good play value, and good re-applicability to adult learners -- and I appreciate their excellent service. I have had multiple purchase experiences with them and all of them were good.
