5/5

I purchased a Soyo KT400 motherboard from Dealsonic because of the reputation they have on resellerratings. When I opened the slightly torn motherboard box, I noticed the static bag on the motherboard and audio cards were ripped open, the cable connectors were opened, and the pins on the audio card were completely bent. In addition, the items were jammed in so tight, that the container has pin marks all over it.
I contacted Dealsonic and they told me that their products come directly from the manufacturer and they don't ship used products.
After some time on the phone with them (they were very nice on the phone), Dealsonic agreed to cross ship a new motherboard out to me, but I have to pay the shipping costs on the motherboard I'm returning. I don't feel this is right. They argued that they don't cover the return shipping costs for a defective item, but they do if they shipped the wrong item. The item I recieved is not defective. I ordered a NEW motherboard from them and they shipped me a USED one. If that's not a different item from what I ordered, I don't know what is. If they feel they got screwed by their distributor, I'm sorry, they can deal with them. I ordered from Dealsonic, and I don't think that their problems with their distributor should be pushed down to the customer.
-------------Update------------------------------
I was contacted by a Dealsonic manager that was reviewing my records, and he offered to e-mail me a return shipping label so that I don't have to pay shipping to return the used motherboard. The customer service with Dealsonic has been excellent, and I am very happy with the outcome of this transaction.
