UPDATE 08/07/2008:
I got the final refund from this company 8/1/2008. This was after I filed a dispute with the company through my credit card. This is probably going to be the BEST way to get your refund from this company . . . in case you every decide to deal with them. Good luck!




This company has a problem honoring their return policy. They don't return emails, and take forever to pickup your chair!

I requested a return on June 6, and they FINALLY picked up their chairs on July 2. It arrived at their facilities on July 7th, and I still haven't received credit.

I was stupid not to look on this site to check their history. I heard of them on NPR and I thought that would be reputable enough. . . I was wrong.

So now I'm going through my credit card to get my money refunded. It seems this is the only way they care enough to honor their promises.

These guys were great. I bought some panniers and a rack for my bike. I had no idea what I acutally needed so I called in to place my order. My salesperson and I talked on the phone for about an hour and half. She checked with her product specialists to make sure everything I ordered would work.

She even told me items that were on sale and recommended better products for me! It was awesome and I'm so satisfied I would recommend this to everyone.

I'm even at an APO address, in Germany, and the item arrived on the Tuesday, one week after placing the order!

I seriously don't know what beef the past people have had with them, because the service I had with them was EXCEPTIONAL!

I purchased from this company, then I immediately emailed them to cancel the order. They never replied and sent the item anyway. Now I have to return the product.

Luckily I won't be charged the 15% restocking fee as they stated.

DO NOT purchase from this company! I SHOULD HAD READ THE PEOPLE'S COMMENTS ON THIS PAGE! DAH

12/15/04

I have YET to receive the refund they promised to me via email on 12/2/04. I emailed them wondering where the refund and have yet to receive a reply.

I orded a down comforter, and when I got it, it was of substantial lower quality than advertised.

They're going to send me a pre-paid item to ship back to them and they were friendly. But the fact of the matter is that they wasted my time with this poorly managed itemization.

12/15/2004

I was trying to find out why my refund was $8.99 short of what I paid, and found out they didn't return the shipping I paid for the process. . . So I had to go through the extra effort to get the repayment. . .

I ordered over the phone with Turner. It worked out well, and I ended up getting a 22" CRT Monitor, Gateway VX1120 for a total of $225 where $75 was shipping & handling. They advertise their monitors to be "perfect" at least on their Ebay auctions.

I got the monitor in about a week and when I got it out the monitor face was visibly dirty. I plugged it in and noticed numerous scratches on the screen that weren't visible until you turned on the monitor.

I let Turner know about this, but he stated that it couldn't had been on their end. He stated that there was NO way that their technicians could not had missed those scratches. I told him they had to had made some mistake because I did not scratch the monitor and he stated that their record shows a perfect rating (on Ebay) and thus proving that the monitor scratches were a fault on my end. I asked him straight up if he was trying to convince me that I scratched the monitor. He stated, basically "yes."

How would you argue something like this (he said, I said kind of argument). So we came to an agreement, that I would ship the unit back to their company and he would ship me a replacement. It cost me about $44 to ship the monitor and I will update when I get the monitor back.

To say the least this is frustrating on my end as well as theirs, but what can be done? No one knows 100% what exactly happened, but I always thought a company took care of its customers. Despite this, I can't help but have an unpleasant feeling in my stomach that somehow I got shafted.

UPDATE:
They received the monitor, but Turner stated that the kinds of scratches I saw aren't even considered when doing the initial inspection. I let him know that he advertised the product as being "perfect" and a scratch like that is far from perfect. He stated that all his customers haven't complained about any problems, so I must've been picky.

I did some research and it turns out that the other customers who did have scratches chose that it wasn't worth the hassle.

Turner states that he'll be getting a new shipment on Tuesday, October 5, and will let me know if there's a monitor that'll be "perfect."

UPDATE (December 12, 2004):
Ok, now I have the monitor! Finally! Basically even more of a headache than it should've been. I did eventually get the monitor of what I was promised, but it should've never gotten to this point.

I bought an air purifier, and it took them about two weeks to ship the item. In addition, there was only one person, Levi, who was the person I would converse with and he would never respond to my emails.

In addition, I was overcharged by $20 and had to call in to make sure they refunded my money.

On top of that, the light bulb inside the purifier got loose, and when I told Levi, he stated that if there is any problems in the future, he would take care of it.

Beside being over charged, the difficulty in communicating with their company (lack of emails), I did get a really good deal. So I would recommend them if you don't mind the wait.

UPDATE, October 12, 2004
I have not yet received the refund for them over charging me and Levi won't return any of my calls or emails. I am simply going to go through my Credit Card company to refund me the overcharge. I will NEVER deal with this company again.

I ordered from them and got a really sweet deal! They're great to use if you make sure you pay attention to what happens. It ends up being about $4.50 per CD!

The problem arises if they don't have a CD in stock or such as that they just cancel it and make you order another one. Plus their customer service is horrible if you ever need it.

If you want a great deal and don't mind the hassle, then use this company.

I ended up purchasing some Bates Elite boots for really cheap. I called in the order and the item came to me after much hastle and calling.

Different operators told me that the item was on back order and I wouldn't receive it for at least a couple of months, but I decided to stick with the order. When I called in again, after seeing that my credit card was still charged, they told me that the item was being shipped straight to me from their supplier.

I ended up getting the boots, and because I didn't need it immediately, it was worth the hassle.

I bought here a VGA box for the X-Box so I could hook up my Xbox to a computer monitor when I LAN up for Halo (and Halo 2 when it comes out).

He states that he was ships only on Fridays, Wednesdays, and Mondays, so I was kind of bummed, but I ended up getting it via USPS the day after I placed the order. I placed the order Thursday morning and got the package friday.
