4/5

I purchased 6 compact flash cards from Adorama. Every single one corrupts when trying to read the card. I was able to recover photos on them using photorec but needless to say I was not happy. Well, they told me to contact SanDisk as they should have a warranty on them. I contacted SanDisk and they told me because they were bulk packaged that they would not honor the warranty. So I went back and forth between these two companies for nearly 3 months until a very rude adorama rep sent me an email that said "So send them back then." That's it.
Well I finally got my refund today and they have the nerve to only give me a partial refund. I was charged $6 for 5 months of headaches, hassles, and missing photos. The $6 is a shipping charge, though when I originally purchased the product shipping was included. I also had to pay for shipping it back to them.
I don't blame them for the faulty product, but I do blame them for a lack of customer service. I will never buy from them again.
UPDATE 8/1/11: I was given a call from Leah R in customer service today and she took care of everything. She apologized for the errors and gave me a full refund plus extra. It will take me a long time before I am willing to take a chance on them again after the terrible customer service initially, but in the end they did make it right. I highly recommend if you have an issue to call and ask to speak directly with Leah.
