The following email was sent to AJUMP after recieving a damaged product.
I just opened the packing box of my shipment. The product was shipped in a
too small box with all packing material underneath the product box and no
packing material between the most fragile part of the product box and the
outer box - product cpu processor was found removed from display mounting
within product box, with protective inner case open and part able to move
around causing damage to tiny motherboard mounting pins -their was no
damage to the outer shipping box - RMA has been requested through your
online form.
Please make sure the replacement item is in good shape, put the
replacement product in a box large enough to protect it and package it
with materials placed to fully protect the item.
The following is the response I recieved.
Dear Stanley,
We apologize for the delay in response to your email. However, we have reviewed your case and have determined that it is not possible for the processor to be removed from the display mount within the product box. AMD takes great effort in packaging their CPUs properly and securely as to prevent such incidents--even if the product box were to shift within a shipping box during transit.
With physical damages, Ajump may no longer extend any warranty. We apologize we can not be of further assistance at this time. If you feel that the processor was not securely packaged in its own box, you may contact the manufacturer direct at (408)749-3060 for further assistance.
Best regards,
Khang Pham
