I placed two orders (2/15/2012, 2/17/2012) with a Valore Marketplace seller back in February. After Valore's suggested shipping window closed and I hadn't received the two books I'd ordered, I contacted Valore about a refund on March 6th. When my seller never got back to them, Valore contacted me saying they would process my two refunds. In the five weeks since then, I've contacted them nearly ten times. When I actually get a reply, they thank me for my patience and assure me they will have my refund or an update within the next few days. Neither ever appears, and I restart the process... I contact them, they lie to me, I wait for a refund or update, it never comes, I contact them, and on and on. Buying from Valore Books is hands down the worst experience I've had as an online consumer.
(Looking over other complaints on the site, it looks as if Valore usually responds. If someone from Valore responds to this post, I'm sure it will be the same fiction they've been feeding me for five weeks now. "Thank you for your patience. We'll have this cleared up right away." Valore Books sucks. Don't buy with them and don't believe any platitudes they post on this site!)
