I screwed up and bought a refill PIN for my old wireless carrier instead of my current one. Even though they really didn't have to, Crazy Game Time graciously sent a full refund to my PayPal account.

I bought a Belkin N300 wireless router from Expansys at an outstanding price, but their shipping and communications were also great. All told a very nice first experience with this vendor.

I ordered a pair of bathroom wall sconces with an estimated ship date of 1-2 weeks. My credit card was charged immediately. After 2 weeks, I contacted them and was told the sconces would ship in a few days, and that the warehouse had been closed for a week for the holidays. The projected ship date slipped again and again, so in frustration I canceled the order. To my surprise their CSR said I would not be credited immediately, but that they would have to contact the sconce manufacturer first. (Apparently 1STOPlighting did not stock the sconces and would have-drop shipped them from the maker.) After yet another contact demanding the credit, and threatening to dispute the charge, I did get a refund.

I ordered a pair of wall sconces from UnbeatableSale because they had the best price and good reviews here. The sconces were shipped promptly, but when they came I found they wouldn't fit where I wanted to put them.
I contacted customer service and was impressed by how easy they made it to return products. My credit card was refunded within a few days of returning the sconces, with nothing taken out for the original outbound shipping. Definitely a class act, and I'll be looking to buy from this store again in the future.

I ordered a plumbing part from CSN Stores through Amazon Marketplace. Their price was good and the item came quickly: so far, so good.

It turned out I didn't need the part, so I got a return authorization and sent it back at my expense. After various delays their CSR said that they would not refund the cost of outbound shipping -- fine since this was stated in the return policy -- but they also would not refund the MA sales tax, something definitely not stated in that policy.

I bought a Sony BluRay player at by far the best price on the web, but mistakenly exchanged the shipping and billing addresses on the order form. When I phoned to remedy this error, I was impressed by how quickly I reached a real (American) person who immediately fixed the problem. Shipping was very prompt and the unit arrived well-packed and in perfect condition.
All told a very good first impression of US Appliance!

I ordered a combination A/V stand and flat panel TV mount from this store that I'd never heard of before. The price+shipping was a $50.00 less than anyone else, so I felt I was taking a risk, but in fact they delivered as promised and ahead of schedule.

My first order with ClubIT was for an Intel Q600 Quad processor, and I managed to screw up entering the shipping address. I contacted their customer service by phone and was able to talk to a real person (Fernando) right away. He contacted the shipper -- FedEx Ground -- and managed to rectify my mistake. He also encouraged me to check back with him to verify the address change had worked and was basically very helpful.

My software order (for Dragon Naturally Speaking) seemed to be doing fine until online tracking showed the USPS had determined that it was undeliverable and was being returned to the shipper. I'd had several items from Buy.com sent to the same address (my office) before without problems. When I looked more closely at the address, I found the the company name had been omitted, leaving just my name in a multi-floor office building.

I found that the Buy.com website now silently deleted that line if I selected an address other than the default. (Although weirdly, if I selected the same address a second time, it wasn't omitted!)

My attempts to rectify this were agonizing. Emails contacts were auto-answered with no sign that a person had read mine. After waiting on hold for close to an hour, I spent another 30 minutes with a CSR who said he'd ask his supervisor to recommend sending me a replacement copy of DNS. Needless to say, it never came. I finally bought DNS locally since I really needed it.

In the end I contested the charge with AMEX, and within a day or two Buy.com issued a refund. What a waste of time!!

My order (placed through Amazon) was shipped promptly, packed in a very sturdy box. Unfortunately one item was missing, so I emailed PetFoodDirect about it. The next business day they shipped two replacements for the one that I was short.

While it would have been better to get the order right in the first place, their response to my problem was outstanding.

After a few prior orders that were essentially perfect, I recently received a defective Lightning 4000N battery charger. Although their website implies a fairly hard-nosed warranty policy, I was very happy with the free replacement RipVan 100 sent in response to my emails.
RipVan100 may not be the _absolute_ cheapest place for rechargeable items, but their excellent customer service is worth a lot in my opinion.

Seeing the low rating this store has, I hesitated to order, but went ahead and bought an RCA Lyra wireless music transmission system and some extra receivers. Coconuts' price was great, and a discount code gave me free shipping.
I ordered on a Sunday, and my order went out by UPS, with tracking, the next day. I got it on Thursday, 3 business days after ordering. It was well-packed and everything worked very well.
Altogether it was a pleasant and efficient purchase experience with Coconuts.
