Mediocre corporate. Spoke to someone on the phone who just said "hello" to welcome a customer who is in need of assistance about his order (a bit unprofessional). Ordered a 2nd day air on the 17th, and when i was emailed of the tracking, shipping was done ground. Contacted them to adjust the credits, and here was the reply: Please be advised that this product was suppose to ship directly from Panasonic via 2nd Day Air to you. Due to the Sales Tax issues, Panasonic has just changed their policy, and they no longer dropship to end consumers. As a result, we have requested Panasonic to overnight the product to our New York warehouse. We had to pay for the expedite processing and for the Next Day Air Service in order to get your product on 08/18/06. As a result we have turned around, and shipped your product to you via UPS Ground for Wednesday delivery 08/23/06. Please note that in accordance with our Order Fulfillment policy, we require at least 48 hours to process an order. Please note that your order was placed on 08/17/06 at 2:46 PM eastern Standard Time. Therefore, if we would not have paid for expedite processing to Panasonic, and your product would have shipped from Panasonic, it would ship to you either on Monday or Tuesday. As a result you would have received your product on Wednesday or Thursday. Therefore, the outcome is the same, as you will receive your product on Wednesday. Believe us, the charges that we have encored for Next Day Air service; Expedited Processing Service; and UPS Ground, were much higher that a single UPS 2nd Day Air charge. Additional amount that needed to be charged should have been adjusted if necessary should the customer needed the item on a 2nd day process. I did not debate on the issue as the item was shipped and received properly. They should have contacted me on the issue as to whether giving me an option of resuming the business with regards to the proper pricing and yes, i would do consider them having revenue on the sale possible if the business is righteous (and yep, if my item was expedited as I needed). Would look at them next time, but would not go crazy on ordering items from them anew. Check out COZAINC instead.
