I have had a terrible experience with LD Products! I ordered two postage meter ink cartridges. Neither cartridge worked in the meter, despite the fact that they were guaranteed to work in the model meter I had. They then sent me two more cartridges. One of these cartridges got stuck in the meter and could not be removed. LD Products told me to force the cartridge out, but I was afraid I would break the plastic mechanism. Instead, I called Pitney Bowes. The customer service person was extremely helpful and walked me through a process in an attempt to remove the cartridge without success. He thereupon offered to replace the meter completely free! No postage, no charge for the meter. It arrived in one day, with a new ink cartridge. I returned three of the four cartridges to LD Products (the 4th was still in the postage meter)with a parcel post label they provided. After calling them for 31 days to see if they received the returns, they finally acknowledged that they had received them and had refunded me for only one of the two cartridges I had originally purchased, even though I had returned 3 of the 4 I had in my possession. I had to get very pushy with the customer service rep to finally get my full refund, and then they only refunded $23.98 of the $28.93 I spent. She said they didn't refund shipping and handling. Moral of the story: BUY YOUR SUPPLIES DIRECTLY FROM PITNEY BOWES!! THEIR PRODUCTS WORKS, AND THE COMPANY TREATS ITS CUSTOMERS LIKE GOLD!
