I had a good experience last year purchasing a stove and microwave so I went back for a refrigerator. I ordered the refrigerator on 9-7-11 and only received a reply by email that the item was back-ordered for 3-5 days after I contacted them asking for a shipping date since my credit card had already been charged. I called 9-19 with my credit card company on the line and was told the item would ship 9-26. No word so I called again today, 10-4 and was told it would ship Monday, 10-10. I will cancel the order if it doesn't ship on 10-10 and will never shop here again whether I ever see the refrigerator or not.
Finally, 10-17-11, the refrigerator arrived! It wasn't until I posted my review that I saw any action. Steven called and made things happen. Heard all the same excuses as listed, Jewish holiday, though I couldn't find any during this period other than a weekend and a work permitted holiday.
In any case, the unit was received in good condition and in working order. The delivery company was excellent in communication. Overall, the savings wasn't worth the hassle and financially doesn't make sense when the vendor holds onto your money during the struggle.
