Was offered promotional price on multiple HPA tanks, I placed orders for several tanks. I paid for items and then they said that the promotional tanks were sold out and they could not sell them at that price, they then told me that they were going to sell me the regular priced tanks at REGULAR price (same as promotional tanks.) They would not give me refund. They ended up sending the tanks to me and three of the tanks had bad regulators that blew upon 2500psi. Very poor quality tanks, I sent all of them back, still have not refunded my money.

After the experience I had with Overstock.Com, I am surprised to see the low rating for them here.

I saw an ad on Half.Com for $10.00 off an XBox system, tried to order it but the link was dead for the special coupon. I tried to place an order for the XBox, but the coupon didn't come up automatically either, I called Overstock's customer service to tell them about the dead link, and the agent setup the coupon while I was on the phone with my order on on the screen of my computer. The agent told me to refresh the page, and when I did the coupon was already up.

The customer service agent was VERY nice and EXTREMELY helpful.

Apparently, the order was shipped out a day later and I received the XBox yesterday.

As an added bonus, my XBox came with a free game for my troubles with the online order. VERY COOL.

I HIGHLY recommend Overstock.Com.

I placed order in April. Never received email from them, sent three emails to them, all were returned unable to send.

I finally called them and was told they were having "server problems" and was instructed on how to send payment manually via Paypal (apparently they send some sort of checkout link of their own,) which I paid immediately.

No response. Called again, next day received an email twlling me that my order was being processed manually.

Received an email the next day with a link to checkout (pay again.) Emailed them several times asking for confirmation of order. No response.

Called today (two weeks later) and was put on hold for 22 minutes (long distance call because they don't have a toll-free line.) Finally hung up.

VERY poor communication. Doesn't seem to care about me (the customer.)
