Extremely pleased with the service I received from them. When I order something, they ship it pretty fast. There was one instance when I had to RMA a CPU fan and they were extremely quick to respond and send out a new one. You really know the quality of a company on how they handle issues and superbiiz' customer service didn't dissapoint. I also like their random deals and coupons, been able to save a lot buying from them. I've ordered CPUs, Memory, and cooling fans from them, and will continue ordering from them as long as the prices are right. Absolutely recommend.

I've purchased from tigerdirect.com 3 times and 2 out of the 3 times it has been a horrible experience. The first time I purchased from them years ago, they shipped and charged (unbeknownst to me)an additional s/h charge for HI which cost me twice as much as the product I was purchasing...I found out after the fact and they never resolved it satisfactoriy...that was years ago, tried them again - uneventful so that was good. My third and most recent transaction was a horrible experience. I had a choice between newegg and these guys for purchasing a Geforce 680 GTX videocard. I went with tigerdirect because there were 5 models to choose from and ALL of them said immediate shipping and availability: in stock. I happily made the purchase, got an email from tigerdirect saying order was placed. I waited a day and never received an email saying payment was processed and item was shipped. I went to the webiste and it said my item was on backorder, that it would take a couple of weeks. I was so upset because NOT ONCE during the ordering process or a day thereafter did it ever say these were on backorder. Moreover, they still had these videocards advertised on their website for sale with stock showing as available! I find this practice of allowing a customer to buy something that is on backorder WITHOUT their knowledge completely DISHONEST. Had I known I was purchasing a backordered item, I would not have gone through with the purchase and went with newegg or amazon. At the time, those websites had it in stock, but when I found out the next my purchase at tigerdirect was on backorder, it was too late to order from those other websites because they were out of stock. Effectively, I got burnt from tigerdirect. The fact that they allow you to purchase a product that is on backorder without your knowledge is dishonost to the customer and a very greedy practice on the company's behalf. I know on newegg or amazon, even during the checkout process, if an item becomes out of stock, they don't allow you to purchase it. Tigerdirect has no such system in place. Nonetheless, I contacted tigerdirect to confirm my order was not one of those on backorder, and they said it was - sorry; they gave me two options, either wait a couple of weeks or cancel my order; I cancelled my order and will probably not buy from them again anytime soon.

At least compensate us for your error, heck I would have kept my order had they tried to right their wrong by even just offering free shipping or $10 bucks off for our troubles, but they didn't even try - simply lazy and lack of accountability to the customer. Just going to their website, one can already tell they operate on "duping" or "tricking" the customer. They advertise these great prices, yet you have to dig to realize that the advertised prices are AFTER rebates...they are never straightforward. Also, they never really offer great deals, I mean how often have you seen "free shipping" from them....never. Lastly, no wonder thier system of stock and availability is horrible, with trying to manage so many online storefronts, they are in disarray and don't seem to have their act together - it's no secret tigerdirect.com = compusa.com = circuitcity.com....what a mess. Just beware when you purchase from these guys and manage your expectations when it comes to availability, their system of stock is not realtime. I'm kicking myself for not purchasing through a trusted website (newegg over 200 purchases w/out a hitch, amazon the same track record, tigerdirect 3 purchases 1 w/out a hitch). Live, learn and avoid....shame on me from not learning from my first experience with them, I know everyone is trying to make a buck during these hard times w/the recession, but clearly this company lacks customer satisfaction principles critical for a company to excel during these hard times....

OK, so I was dying to get my hands on a 680 GTX which is sold out everywhere. I went to tigerdirect and they said they had them in stock so I made my purchase, after waiting a day, I found out they were backordered. By then newegg was out of stock so I was really bummed; one website I always buy from was out of stock, and the other website store tricked me buy not telling me I purchased something that was out of stock. So as I was perusing newegg, I saw a link at the bottom to jr.com advertising a 680 gtx.

I went to jr.com, the website said the PNY 680 GTX was in stock; I was skeptical after being burned by tigerdirect (see my review on them), but took the risk and made the purchase at the same price as others. 3.5 days later a PNY 680 gtx that I purchased was on my doorstep! Way to go JR! When they say something is in stock, they mean it, none of this "bait and switch" trick that other online PC stores pull (cough Tigerdirect/compusa/circuitcity). This purchase was straightforward and smooth. I've added these guys to list of great PC parts websites, up there with newegg, amazon, superbiiz and geeks.com...add jr.com to that now, they have earned my trust, this is one of many purchases to come!

I've been buying from geeks.com for a little over a decade. I build PCs and I always go to these guys to see if there are any discounted parts I need. It's exciting because you never know what kind of surplus deal you're going to see from one day to the next. There was only one time (of the 100's of times I've ordered from them) that I received something that wasn't working - it was a hard drive. They tested it, confirmed it was defective and sent me a new one. It was a smooth process and I had no complaints. I can't recommend this store enough, especially for some of the older parts that may not be available on other website stores. My only gripe was I could not figure out how to change my password; I couldn't do it under account settings, luckily they have a website chat service that's easy to use and the lady walked me through it (had to click on "forgot password" < that's the first). Overall, they ship fairly quick, items were always packaged well and they are a solid, no BS store. I'm a customer for life.
