AVOID THIS SELLER. Read the other reviews and believe us. Do not buy anything from ridegear.com. the prices were great and the website looked nice, so i took a gamble and bought a pair of gloves, boots, and a jacket. they sent me an auto-email confirming my order and to expect my purchase to be shipped within 1-4 business days. after a week of waiting, i tried to call to find out their phone number was disconnected. RED FLAG. that's when i read the reviews. i sent an email to check on the status of my order (since i couldn't call them) to get this response:
"It may be a few weeks before we will be able to fulfill your order. Currently we are holding your order."
after another status check:
"It is not available through the vendor and doesnt have an ETA"
WHY ARE THEY SELLING IT IF IT'S NOT AVAILABLE?
i canceled my order through the website and then called my credit card company. fortunately, the cc auth is only good for 10 days and they had not charged my cc. another odd thing was the authorized amount and my invoice total were off by more than $100.
