I was referred to XOTIC PC by a buddy who purchased a gaming laptop. I was really interested in how affordable and easy he said the whole process was, so I decided to try it myself.

I should start by saying that this company has a policy that requires you to have a conference call with your customer service representative and a member of your bank, presumably to confirm that you are actually the one purchasing the computer and to confirm that you have the funds to do so in the first place. It is a little bit of a pain, but to be completely honest, the fact that I received follow up emails/calls practically every day from the same, ENGLISH speaking, representative throughout the entire process makes up for the minor inconvenience of the conference call. She was very nice and helpful. A part that I wanted upgraded went on backorder, and she made it a priority to try to get me a suitable alternative.

I will purchase all of my future notebooks from this company. They don't come pre-loaded with tons of nonsense. They are incredibly affordable for the performance you get, and they have a pretty wild selection of upgrades that should make the big guys green with envy. 5 stars all around.
