i figure this email i just wrote to them sums it up well...
*** NO! cancel my order immediately! when i placed my order, your website said everything was in stock. it should have gone out before you guys went on your holiday. as a courtesy to your customers, you should have announced 1 week before that you would not be able to process orders... as i said previously, i placed my order on the 3rd. you guys didnt leave the office until the 8th. if my order was backordered, you should have emailed me IMMEDIATELY and told me that my order was backordered and there was a good chance that you wouldnt be able to process it until after your holiday, which happened to last over the next 2 weeks. letting me wait and wait, finally email you and find out that your not even there! i never got any information other than that my order was placed. you guys have the worst customer service ive ever experienced. after all of this, i have already re-placed my order with a different company for pennies more than your price and i have delivery confirmation that it will be at my home tomorrow. you guys really have a lot to learn about customer service and i hope you take this email and adjust the way you do business... id be surprised to find out if im the only one u did this to over your holiday. id be surprised if im the only one that missed out on things for a planned trip because the company he ordered them from(thats you) was incompetent. change your ways. all it takes is letting the customer know whats going on as soon as a problem comes up... if you dont do that and keep people in the dark, all they will do is hate you and write some of the comments that ive seen online about this site... too bad i saw those comments after i got screwed by your company. just as an example, i have another order from a different outlet for a fishing reel. 1st, there was an issue with stock... they called and told me... 2nd, the distributor sent the wrong reel to the company... they called and let me know... 3rd, i have since added things to my order including another reel and a GPS unit... why? after all thats gone wrong with these people? they let me know immediately and tried to make up for it in other ways... NOW - as soon as i get my order, im going to write the best evaluation online that i can possibly think of about their company. im going to order from them in the future... im going to tell my friends who buy a lot of fishing equipment about them... also - im going to tell them NOT to use GPScrave.com or any of the electOtronics stores. im going to write a horrible review of your company and never order anything from you again... THE DIFFERENCE IS COMMUNICATION! everyone knows shit happens... just let us know when it does.
