I purchased front and rear brake pads. One set showed as in stock, the other was special order. That's fine, as I had a fairly new car.
I received the "in stock" pads last Friday -- almost three weeks after the original purchase date! I contacted the vendor through their online chat to find out when I might get the special order pads. I quote, "As i have a limited access with the shipping department i am not sure about that". Ok, so it's Saturday, shipping dept might be closed.
I pressed him a bit more to see if/when I might be able to get a definite timeframe and was told "You will receive the part on monday As we do not have deliveries on holidays". Strange thing is there is no holiday upcoming until xmas??
Since he had no information one second and then all of a sudden said that it was in transit, I simply asked for a tracking number. "It has not been updated it will be updated later today", so I waited a day and contacted them again. Today, I just got an answer that "I would be updated during normal business hours." Their website says to contact them 24/7 so what is a normal business hour for them??
I've tried to be patient with these guys and give them the benefit of the doubt. But their dubious answers are making me think that I need to cancel my order and never purchase from here again as my dealings so far have been rather suspect. Proceed with caution...
