5/5

On Cyber Monday I ordered a white 8GB IPod Touch for $139 (best deal ever?) Although J&R was currently out of stock, I was hopeful to receive this as a Xmas gift for my son. Two days after placing the order, I received an e-mail from J&R canceling the order due to a pricing error on the website. Although I was disappointed, every merchant has the right to correct an error like this. One day later, J&R sent another e-mail apologizing for the mistake and offered to fulfill the order despite the error. I received the Ipod less than a week later.
I don't know how many people ordered at this price or how much J&R's margin is on the Ipod, but I was certainly surprised that they agreed to sell me the Ipod at a price that was really too good to be true (which, of course, it was.) J&R certainly seems to care about the customer!
