Received the "billing information/upsell" call. Stated that we didn't need any accessories and then received the e-mail stating our product was on backorder. We were disappointed, but decided we would wait the 14 to 21 days stated to receive the camera. However, I then googled AJ Richies and read numerous accounts of this same thing happening. Also read that while shipping is free, customers were charged (without their knowledge) anywhere from $20 to $200 for handling and insurance. Ended up cancelling the order because I don't think they ever intended to ship the camera for the low "bait" price.
Additional info: Order placed 11/19, upsell call 11/21, item backordered email 11/21. I contacted them via email with my concerns on 11/30, they again send me backordered email as reply on 12/2, I cancelled order on 12/4, posted this review 12/7, receive form letter looking email from Adam 12/7 my camera is *magically* in stock and he can ship it right away. This is too late as I have already ordered from another company and the camera is on it's way. Before cancelling order I had also tried to email customer service as opposed to sales, but it was returned as undeliverable.
