I ordered Corsair TwinX 1024-4000 Ram from their website on Apr 3...the email I recieved stated that the ram would be shipped on Apr 5th, and would arrive to my home on Apr 8th.
I phoned the store on Apr 5 just to check if they shipped the ram, they said it would be shipped on Apr 6th. So then I phoned them back on the 6th to just make sure, this time they said that the last stick of ram was just shipped before mine and there was none left, how convenient.
After numerous phone calls on my part, and more lies from theirs they basically told me because I paid for the ram before the huge price increase, their distributor would not sell any to them, nor to me. What a crock...Bytewize Gladly charged my Visa the next day after I paid.
So after 2 weeks of delay now, Im pissed, since I've had a new pc sitting in a box for about a month with no memory...I phoned back Apr 19th to ask for a refund, the person on the phone said they would take care of it. I checked my Visa acct online...hmm no refund yet, WTF? So then I phoned them today Apr 28th to check what was happening, they said that they never recieved a refund request...Holy Shit, almost 1 month now, and here I am with no Ram, and a $335 charge to my CC and Totally PO'd....Here's Some Advice: I WOULD NEVER BUY FROM THIS STORE AGAIN!!!
