So far, a bit disappointed by the slow shipping and lack of online status update.

Update Feb 3rd: added one star today because I emailed them again and got a reply within 15 minutes. That's quick. Confirmed that the order is in warehouse, but not yet shipped. Also, they replied here (as seen below). I agree that they stated about 1-3 business days processing. I stress that my review is to remind people to NOT expect fast shipping even if it is in-stock or you would only be disappointed. To the credit of the company, they do reply to my email promptly during their stated customer service hours. First-time customers like me can and is reasonable to be skeptical. As a comment for the company to consider, you may add a few more status to your tracking system (e.g. 1. received/pending processing; 2. charged; 3. sent to warehouse; 4. shipped; 5. delivered.), this will keep customer informed and improve satisfaction. The online tracking status remains the same as it first appeared online. Only planning to update it once for a tracking number is not in-par with many current online retailer tracking system.

Details:

Ordered a Lenovo X220 tablet with >671 in stock the morning of Feb 1st. Used Google checkout. Online tracking shows no update on Feb 2nd morning, so emailed customer service. Got a reply within 1 hour saying my order is pending processing and it will take up to 1-3 business days to process and then 1-7 business days to deliver (i.e., a generic reply).

No update as of Feb 3rd morning.

Current verdict, if you are NOT in a hurry, and want cheap pricing, it may be OK. Do NOT expect same day processing (within hours of ordering) that you get from other popular online retailers.

For faster service, you may try paying extra for expedited shipping from them. That will make them more expensive than at least one other online store that offers free expedited shipping, however.

I will update this when (and if) I actually receives the order. It won't make it until some time next week, if not two from now given their slow processing so far. I regret ordering from them.

“We state on our website several times during the ordering process that ground orders will ship in 1 – 3 business days. Tracking information will be posted to your online account immediately upon shipment from the warehouse and will automatically be emailed the next day after shipment. I am sorry you don’t feel that this is sufficient but we have done everything that we have stated we would do.”

Newegg has always been fast in shipping the items out. This time, the next morning after I placed my order, one of the items is on sale and has a lower price. I emailed them and they replied promptly within 9 minutes. Although they don't have a policy on price guarantee, they granted a credit to my account for the difference in price, as an exception. So, in addition to fast shipping, they also have superb customer service.
Just can't stop checking out their website for deals.
