It's a painful experience in dealing with X10.com. It has the most disgusting employees in sales and customer service of all companies I've dealt with. First, the order was not processed and shipped until 4 days had gone by since the order was placed. It took more than 11 days to receive. When we opened the package some items were missing and some items were incorrectly filled. Subsequent contacts with customer services were a real pain: long wait on phone and when we finally reached a live person, she was a complete waste of time: incompetent, robot-like responses, and failed to follow through what she promised to do: sending us a link to download the software that was not shipped with the order. When we reached a supervisor named "Lacresha", she turned out to be as incompetent and very unpleasant like the rest of the customer service agents. They count the 30-satisfaction guarantee from the day you place the order - not when you receive the order! So, by the time you actually have the ordered items in your hand, you would actually only have about 10 days left to return the products. Second, the quality of X10 products is very very disappointing and unreliable - just like the company itself. By the way, all of X10 products are made in China. That should say something about quality or lack thereof.
In short, unless you enjoy pain and suffering, do not even be tempted with the sleazy advertisement of X10.com. It'd be just a matter of time these shysters get their day in court and in disgrace!
