I am a little surprised by what has occured because Newegg is usually more professional. First I called (16 March) to see if a Panasonic AG-DVX100B camcorder was in stock as stated on the web page. I was told it was and I immediately placed the order on the internet, along with 3 other items. I then immediately received an e-mail 1:41 pm (PST) confirming the order and "Your order will be processed and shipped in about 24-48 hours." My 4 item order was also broken into 3 seperate orders resulting in 3 e-mails. Since nothing is done on weekends I waited until Monday to check the status. Around 11am I checked my e-mail and found only 1 e-mail and it addressed the tapes that I ordered to go with the camera. They had been shipped and had a tracking # (which does not work). I called newegg and asked about the rest of my order. I was told that all 3 orders, including the camera, where at the warehouse being processed and would ship today, 19th. Today is the 20th. No e-mails. I go to their web site, log in, go to check order status, and nothing is there about the remaining 3 items. I type in the order #'s and get "The sales order number you entered is invalid or doesn't exist." for both. I call newegg. They tell me that the camera order has been voided, that they are out of stock. They have no answer for my many questions about what has happened. The individual stated that I should have received e-mails regarding these orders an seemed surprised that I hadn't, almost as if I was lying. I was then informed that the remining two items were rescheduled for delivery. They stated that perhaps I was not home when UPS came. I stated that today was the 20th and I had 3 day UPS. If they shipped the 19th how could I miss it. Besides UPS doesn't care if your home, they don't even ring the doorbell. They just leave it. Good news, I was told that the tapes for the camera were shipped and I would have them shortly. I asked why would you send the tapes if they didn't have the camera. They said that they would refund me the cost of the tapes. I asked what to do with the tapes when they arrive - keep them. I asked if they were getting anymore cameras. I was told to look at the website. The camera is no longer listed. I was told then they guess their not getting anymore. The individual at this time was completely lost for words and I thanked then for their help and hung up. I can not say that I will not order from them again but this episode has really caused me to look else where. I work for a church and we were expecting to use this camera this weekend. Now I have to find someone else and will have to pay extra (a lot) for overnight. Today is the 23rd. To this day I have received nothing from Newegg regarding the camera. No e-mail explaining that it is out of stock, nothing, as if I never placed the order. After I first wrote this I found that they had indeed charged my credit card for the purchase. When I called they said they would refund it. Purhaps I fit the profile of someone they really messed up with, figured they can't make it right, lets move on to other business maybe he'll go away. Now I don't know if Newegg is in with this website but this review was posted with a date of 06/2002, buried where no one would see it.

I purchased a T-Mobile phone and service thru FonCentral. The phone came with 2 $25 rebates. I sent them in after having two months service with T-Mobile. The rebate forms said 6-8 weeks to process. I called two months after submitting the rebates (Dec 2004)and was told that I would receive one check in April 2005 and another in May 2005 (not mentioned on the forms). In June 2005 I attempted to call FonCentral about the rebates. They had changed their Customer Sevice system in such a way that it require an invoice number to gain access to their representatives. My invoice has no number just a Customer ID and Package #. Access into their web page requires the same information. Calling the 1-800 number only gets you to the ordering section and they have no means of contacting Customer Service accept thru the 1-800 number and that requires an invoice number they did not provide. I tried using the system they have for those who have forgotten their invoice number - doesn't know me.They don't list an e-mail address but I tried sending some to support@foncentral.com and they did not come back as non-deliverable or ever answered. I submitted a complaint with the BBB in NY. After six months they informed me that FonCentral had moved once in NY and now has moved to Maryland. My feelings is that FonCentral never intended to send rebates to its customers then. They used that money to establish itself and then moved out of NY to prevent legal matters. They have set up a system to prevent those customer from reaching them. If you look around the web you will find the same or better deals. Trust me you do not want to go through the things I have. I have not given up but I'm not holding my breath. Chris Cicero, I ordered from you the President. You must be very proud of yourself. Your family must really look up to you. Maybe someday you'll tell them where the money came from.

I purchased several Q-See items through a dealer. 5 of the items were the same model cameras. They were listed on their web site as new products. 2 cameras were installed but were taken down after 1 week. We could never get them to work, focus and zoom problems. We hooked up the other 3 cameras in a workshop and found identical problems plus others. Here is were the problems begin: calling Q-See never got a return call. Was on hold for 30+ minutes twice. Left a half dozen messages with no call back. E-mails went un-answered until I filled out several complaint forms online that were supposed to go to managers. I received several CC e-mails showing individuals asking each other to help me. Finally one told me to work with another co-worker. That individual has yet to get back with me. A different person sent me an e-mail asking to show proof of purchase so they could be returned and repaired. I replied back saying I didn't buy repaired cameras but new. Since they have been discontinued I would consider a different model. Guess what? I haven't heard from her either. It has been a month now and no help. I contacted my dealer, he told me that the cameras I bought have been discontinued because of problems. My friends, do not buy from this company. There are plenty of other cctv suppliers out there who have better records. My next stop is the BBB, State attorney general, and a Seattle news station (KING5) that helps people. This makes 3 bad reviews. You have been warned.
