I would jump through fire to sing the praises of Puget Systems! I have had a few days to play with my new system, now, and I can say with certainty that it is everything I hoped for and more.
As an artist, I got the best graphics bang for my bucks. (Nobody is more discriminating about tools than a starving artist! Every penny is an investment.)
But, let me back up a bit. From the beginning, the sales staff was helpful and extremely informative. PLUS William was honest about the pros and cons of various aspects of the build. He didn't try to sell me more than I needed. I had done a bit of homework and price comparisons. He also informed me of a few things I had not discovered in my own fact finding. In was able to verify everything he said through my own sources.
The build was almost as fast as my new system is, and I was surprised and tickled to get photos of my system (I call it my baby) being born.
When the delivery date rolled around, I was very excited. I got the system home and set it up immediately. Whoops! A little problem with getting my monitor hooked up. One phone call resolved that. Communication was never an issue. Calls were promptly returned. (Within 5 minutes.)
Included with my system were cables wires, connections, etc., for future upgrades. (A staple in the diet of any CG artist.) A lovely (if unexpected) complimentary gift.
I've challenged my new system enough to know it is VERY stable and feel confident I can rely on it.
I will stack Puget Systems against <Company Name redacted by author> that other "recommended by Autodesk" on any given day, no sweat. Furthermore, I have written to Autodesk to inform them of the same.
Five stars!!!
