I bought an iPhone 3G S from JAB Cellular in November of 2009. I was told, on more than one occasion, that this phone was fresh from the Apple factory, and had NEVER BEEN LOCKED. So, it was a *Factory Authorized Unlocked* phone. Thought I had done enough research on this topic, and had asked JAB several times: This phone has not been hacked, and came from the factory unlocked. Several times I was told it's not been hacked. Yesterday I purchased the Apple extended warranty for it. While I was on the phone with Apple trying to register the extended warranty for the phone, Apple said that I was not the registered owner. This phone was registered in someone else's name, in Hong Kong. If JAB had been honest and told me it was hacked, I wouldn't have spent over $800 buying from them, when hacked phones are available here for a fraction of that. JAB Cellular is a scam, and I won't do any business with them. If you want an unlocked iPhone, get one off of eBay and save yourselves a bunch of money.

I'm not quite sure how to get this response placed into the proper spot. I am trying to answer the reply from JAB Cellular. My response is as follows: The iPhone I purchased from you in November, 2009 just started to act like it had a problem... good thing I didn't purchase your extended warranty, or I would have never figured out that your company, JAB Cellular is nothing but a sham / scam. If I had not contacted Apple directly, two days ago, to purchase an extended warranty, I would have never known that I had purchased a hacked phone. The question you, JAB Cellular, need to ask is "why must we (JAB Cellular) scam decent, honest people out of their hard earned money".

“If you purchased this phone in November of 2009, and you had a concern, why are you just now posting something about it? We would have been more than happy to work with you, had you brought your concern to our attention at the time of your purchase, rather than 4 months later.
