Sun promptly shipped the cards, but unfortunately my customer had to use a different brand (SIIG) due to compatibility reasons. Sun was nice enough to take the back without issuing a restock fee. I've placed several orders with Tekgems over the years and each time they are a pleasure to deal with. Their prices are extremely low and their customer service is top notch.

I ordered a pair of AKG K701's, and they were shipped in less than 24 hrs. after the order was placed. I received prompt emails with updates and a tracking number. The arrived intact were factory sealed. I look forward to doing business with HeadRoom in the near future.

I bought some geek shirts at a heavily discounted price. If you're a computer geek then you need to have the threads to prove it. Fast shipping and a great company to deal with. I bought a PCI-E BFG 6800GT from them a while back and it was exceptional as well.

I purchased a Denon 3803 on Nov. 25, 2003 after hearing about a hot deal that was posted on hometheaterforum.com. At first I was hesitant to order, but once I confirmed that they were a Denon authorized e-tailer all of my worries disappeared. I even phoned them to verify that the unit was in stock, and after I placed the order it shipped out a day or two later. The unit was brand new, and the serial numbers were intact. :)

We decided to drop Sprint and switch to Cingular since they started offering local numbers in our area. My finacee was in such a hurry that she failed to shop around for a good deal. She called the Cingular direct online store and ordered a Samsung D307 & Razr v3 for roughy $550. They do offer a 30-day return, however you are charged for usage and they prorate the month. We returned the phone since we signed up thru another company that offered Cingular service with some very nice free phones (we chose the Nokia 6102 & Sony z520a).

We decided to return the other phones back to the Cingular online store since we were within the 30-day window. I shipped them back DHL insured; they were delivered and signed for. Several days later we noticed a refund on one phone only, so my fiancee called to see what was going on. A Cingular CSR said that it may take a few more days for the other phone to show up in the system. Well, 3 weeks have passed and we still have not received a refund on the second phone. We disputed the charge with our credit card co. since we have proof of delivery, the package was insured and clearly listed both phones being inside of the box, and the weight matches up.

I am exteremely disappointed with the Cingular online store. I have dealt with numerous companies over the years and this experience definitely ranks low on the totem pole. They lose the phone and try to charge me for their error. Caveat Emptor!

Please don't allow letstalk.com's mediocre reseller ratings discourage you from dealing with this company.

My fiancee and I have been with Sprint for a few years and wanted to switch to Cingular since 1) we weren't under contract and 2) we wanted new phones and 3) we wanted better service. My fiancee was in such a hurry to get things done that she signed up thru Cingular's website and spent $550 on two phones. She said that they had a 30-day no hassle return, so once we received the phones from Letstalk we shipped the other phones back.

A few days later I searched high and low for a reputable Cingular online dealer that offered deals in our zipcode. I went to nokia.com and was interested in the new 6102, and my fiancee wanted the 6820. I noticed that Nokia pushed the sale thru letstalk.com, therefore I was confident about the purchase. My fiancee didn't like the Nokia 6820's LCD so I had to RMA the phone. Letstalk customer service was extremely polite and helpful. I ended up doing 2 more RMA's and now my fiancee has the Sony Ericsson z520a. She's definitely keeping it. I think she digs the fancy LED's. :P

Without a doubt letstalk.com is one of the best places to purchase your new cell phone and plan. I have referred a few people already. Thank you for the amazing service!

I placed an order for the GAINWARD 6800 Ultra that was advertised for $432, and showed to be in stock at the time the order was placed. The following day I receive an email from Eve with a subject line of RE:, and it was very unprofessional. She went on to say " Unfortunately, we are not able to ship out your order item VC-129-106 GAINWARD GF6800 ULTRA 256M AGP8X GS. We've received word that this video card won't become available for a long time. Your order will be cancelled at this time...."

After replying to her email I received another reply that stated "If you willing to wait for the video card without ETA date at this time, we will be able to keep your order active till the video card come in. Please advice. eve"

Other e-tailers (newegg, zzf, etc.) have had the Gainward 6800 Ultras in stock over the past month on several occasions, so BuyXG's excuse that "this video card won't become available for a long time." is a lame attempt to fool the unsaavy customer.

Not only does BuyXG fail to update their website to reflect current stock, they post products at unbelievable prices and cancel your order if there is a price mistake, which is what this particular sale appeared to be. Instead of sending out an email denoting the pricing error, they come up with other off the wall excuses to justify the cancellation. It's quite obvious that after reading the comments left from the other customers that service after the sale is not something that BuyXG specializes in. The only positive thing I have to add is that my credit card was not charged.

Rest assured I will never purchase another item from this company. Caveat Emptor!!

“Ultra/2600 is of extremely limited supply due to the current availability of GeForce 6800Ultra chip in the market. Golden sample or not, but are going to be hard to get, because the supply is so limited that the manufacture could not always guarantee the delivery schedule. Although we do apolozige for the delay and trouble it may caused”

I order thousands of dollars worth of product over the internet on a monthly basis. I had a client that was looking for Quickbooks 2004 Healthcare edition. What I find odd is that my customer went to the local Office Max and they had this exact Quickbooks edition (Quickbooks Premier 2004 Editions) on display, but the salesman said it was not available for purchase because it offered multiple "versions" and was for display purposes only. It clearly stats that you select one of eight different versions during the installation process. Fortunately Healthcare was one of the choices! I searched thru pricewatch.com & froogle.com to find that this software does appear to be a shortage item, and only a couple of e-tailers even carry the 2004 Healthcare edition. I noticed that softbuyweb.com carried the Quickbooks Premier 2004 Editions (which is what the local OM had on display) at an amazing price and it was showing to be in stock.

Softbuyweb offered this software for $358.90, which was an outstanding price when you compared it to other e-tailers. I placed the order on 6/6/04 @ 6:19PM and received a detailed email order confirmation one minute later. I also chose ground shipping and to my surprise it arrived today. I am very satisfied with softbuyweb.com, and will definitely keep them in mind for future purchases.

I was browsing the hometheaterspot.com forums and noticed that cables america was selling the Sonicwave glass toslink for around $55.00 less than the competition. I placed the order and received a confirmation email shortly after. The order shipped within 24hrs and arrived a few days later in pristine condition. I'll be ordering again from this company in the future and I highly recommend them!

I purchased a SONY 256MB memory stick pro, a 10pk of SONY MiniDV tapes, and a SONY memory stick holder. I elected to have them shipped UPS ground, and it only took 3 or 4 days to arrive. The only concern I had was their "handling" fee which closely resembled actual UPS shipping charges. I can't really blame them since Buy.com does something similar. Since I got a good deal on the tapes I wasn't going to bitch about it too much, but I will keep that "feature" in mind on future orders when comparing their prices to another e-tailer.

This was my first purchase @ eCost, and overall I was pleased w/ their services as a whole.
