• Bio: Right after graduating from high school in 1977, I entered the US Army and became an interrogator/linguist. I spent a few years in Munich, Germany and then was honorably discharged. From that point, I worked as a secretary, office manager, and numerous extra jobs in order to support myself and my daughter. In 1989, I attended computer programming school, graduated as valedictorian, and worked in the field for two years. I then decided to go to nursing school. I finished all my prerequisites and attened nursing school from 1994-1996, graduating in the top 10th percentile with an Associates Degree in Science/Nursing. I worked as a registered nurse from 1996 until the untimely death of my husband (who was a disabled veteran)on April 14, 2011. Since that time, I have been battling the government regarding my claims with the VBA (survivor benefits), Champus (healh insurance), and the Social Security Administration due to the fact that I can no longer work due to health issues. I have three dogs - a terrier-mix, a chihuahua-mix, and a wolf. I am the oldest of 9 children.
