Newegg has been my favorite site for shipping PC parts. I shop two or third times a month for computer parts and the delivery time has been excellent.

My latest experience with Newegg can't be better. Here is the story.

Last Friday, I ordered 8GB DDR3 laptop (4Gx2) memory with overnight shipping. I received the item on Monday and found that one stick doesn;t work. I immediately communicated with Newegg with online chat and described the situation. I was in a hurry to use that memory for a business trip. I asked what option I have. The service rep, Beth, told me to put a new order and will submit a RMA for my return. She also send me a return envelop and also covered my shipping cost for the second order.

So go with Newegg and you won't be tosted.

The people there are very honestr and helpful. I ordered Refurbished Sharp AQUOS LC62C42U 42 inch 1080p Flat Panel LCD HDTV on 9/15/2007 online and was going to pay the $95 fee for local pickup. The second day I received phone from them asking me whether I can pick the set up from their warehouse where is actually close to my house. They also said that the $95 fee will be waived if I do that. Certainly I am happy to do that.

That day I found a online coupon which could reduce the total by $50. I called them and asked them to do a price adjustment and they said that they will do that when I pick the set.

I went to pick the set and got the price adjustment. For the set I know that it is refurbished and was ready to accept something with little dents or something like that. However what I received looks like a brand new packaging from the manufacture and after I opened it I found everything looks new. The set was very protected and the stand is absolutely new. So I am very happy about this site.

Generally I am satisfied by clubmac.com. The service somehow is related with the sales reps you are talking to.

I ordered Westinghouse LVM-42W2-REF 42inch refurbished 1080p monitor from them on 8/24 because of its super low price ($699). At the time when I ordered the web site shows that it was in-stock. However I didn't really believe it. So I put it aside and just wait the order shipping confirmation to show up.

The order confirmation came on 8/26 stating that my order is back ordered and that was under my assumption. I was still waiting the ship since I was not that in hurry to use the monitor.

on 9/5 I called them since no indication of shipment. A rep answered my phone and told me that the set will be shiping on 9/6. On 9/6 I received shipping confirmation. I finally received the set on 9/13.

The package had several holes in the carton box and after opened the box I found that the packaging is really poor. There was almost no cursion to protect the edge of the set. And also I found that the base of the set is bent heavily so that I can not put it horizontally on a flat surface. It looks like that the set has been sold and returned several times.

The second day I called clubmac.com and a rep listened to my complain and immediately he offered the return of the set with free pickup at my house. I was surprised that he did that because I was ready to battle with them.

The set was pickup on 9/15 and I was refunded on 9/23 after the set was delivered to clubmac including the shipping cost.

So I am not happy about the quality of the product but I am satisfied by this particular sales rep. I am not sure if it was not him how this would go.
