This was one of the most horrible shopping experiences I've ever had with an online merchant. I placed an order for an HP Touchpad bluetooth keyboard and received an email stating that my credit card had to be verified. I was upset just opening this email as I shop at other retailers with the same credit card and shipping and billing addresses and never have a problem. Anyway I decided to call their credit department which was the number given to me in the email. I called them 3 times. Once in the morning, waited on hold for 30 min and no one picked up. Called again in the afternoon, waited on hold for 40 minutes and no one picked up. Called again in the evening around 5PM PST waited on hold for another 20 minutes and no one picked up. Eventually I just got fed up.

So I went online the following day and hit their chat online button and told the customer service rep to cancel my order. He never even attempted to resolve the issue just said ok and cancelled the order.

I ended up ordering the keyboard from HP.com for less money and less hassle. They shipped my order the next day and I gave them the exact same credit card and same billing and shipping addresses.

Don't shop with macmall unless you want to jump through hoops to get your order shipped. You can find other people that have experienced even worse problems than me if you google it.

Macmall is a waste of time and I probably won't be ordering from them in the future.

They sometimes have good deals, but on some the 5 dollar shipping kills it. I have shopped at shirt.woot, woot, as well as wine.woot and they are all the same. The shipping speed is atrocious. It takes them a minimum of 5 days to ship the order out and then about another week for it to get to you. It hasn't been any different in the past 23 orders I have placed with them.

I have managed to get some interesting items though, like a giant 4 lb tub of olives, so they aren't all that bad. Also, my experience with their customer service has been excellent. I bought a a set of Woot off lights and they showed up broken. They were really quick to mail out a replacement set at their cost and I didn't have to mail the broken ones back.

I would recommend shopping here. They are kind of slow, but sometimes you can get a decent deal or find an item that you never thought you wanted.

They have pretty good prices on most of their stuff, but shipping is extremely slow. I placed my order on September 1, 2010 and didn't receive it until September 16, 2010. That is a lot of time for a package to travel from NY to CA. I don't know if I would shop with them again based on their shipping speed.

I ordered the BJC LC-1 subwoofer cable and it is very high quality and wasn't too expensive. Sounds better than the Monster THX RCA cable I was using prior to switching. Shipped out very quickly. They also have detailed information on their website. The site design looks kind of shady (no offense, but it looks like one of those tripod member pages that was constructed by a 10 year old), but if you can look past that they are very reliable to buy from.

I bought a 100ft spool of 12 gauge speaker wire and they shipped it out very quickly. It took about 4 days to get to me via UPS Ground. They ship fast and all that good stuff, but their shipping prices are insane. They charged me 14 dollars to ship a spool of speaker wire from Ohio to CA. Buying smaller items from them is out of the question because of their shipping prices. Most of the time the shipping cost is as much as the item itself if you are buying something small.

Excellent store to buy from. I bought a 20 pack of locking banana plugs and they were excellent quality. They shipped the order very quickly and I got it in 2 days after ordering (I am about 150 miles from them). They have good customer service as well, they were willing to discount shipping for me.

I ordered a retractable charging cable for iPhone 3G (PID 2732). The first one that showed up looked like it was crushed by USPS so I emailed them and they replaced it. I will admit they were very quick at replacing the damaged cable. The replacement cable I got worked great for a little while, but now the retractable portion of the cable doesn't retract the cable anymore. The price was pretty cheap and it still works, but the whole point of buying a retractable cable is for it to retract. 50% of the function is lost if it doesn't. Their products are cheap, but you get what you pay for. My Kensington retractable mini usb cable still works like a champ and it is about a year old and I paid about 5 dollars more than monoprice for it. Do they expect me to keep asking them for replacements?

Their cables functionally work fine, but I wouldn't ever buy anything from them that has moving parts.

[UPDATE]
I was contacted by Vince from Monoprice and he offered me a replacement cable. I accepted the replacement cable. The new cable that was given to me works fine, but time will tell to see if it has any lasting power or if it will stop retracting after a few weeks. In the meantime I am satisfied with Monoprice's customer service and their willingness to rectify the problem both times. Still not sure if I can say the same thing about the cable, but overall they seem like good people. They stand behind their products. I would buy from them again.

Don't shop here. They don't ship their products and they won't answer your emails. In my case they didn't even charge my credit card. It just says pending and it will probably never ship. I think its just a website, but no one is actively working on shipping orders or anything. Its a shame because I really wanted that zwave light controller to use with new Harmony 890.

I ordered from them on a Saturday and the product was shipped on Monday. It took a while to get here, but that is understandable considering it was going from Canada to CA. It works great. I can't comment on their customer service because I didn't have to use it. Overall, I would recommend them as a reliable place to order.

However, upon receiving the package I was concerned with the packaging. It was mailed in a bubble mailer. I don't think sending chip boards in a bubble mailer is a good idea. I have read accounts of people getting damaged goods from them because of the packaging, but I didn't have a problem. I'm going to assume a majority of their orders don't have a problem and that is why they continue to use it for packaging.

They offered a 4 Port USB 2.0 Mini PocketHub Kensington 33141 - New for 4.99. I ordered it, and they mailed me the USB 1.1 model of it. Bait and switch tactic. I wouldn't shop here, because you will probably get what you didn't order. Their customer service is unresponsive. There are many other 1 day deal sites out there that are more trustworthy than these people. Don't shop here, maybe they will go out of business so they can't scam anyone else.

This store used to be excellent. They still have flawless customer service, but their prices leave a lot to be desired. They got rid of their 110% price match guarantee and now they are just overpriced. Most of their prices are usually a few dollars over MSRP. They say that they would rather have you pay for the customer service, but other stores especially endless.com (owned by Amazon) offer the same level of customer service and the competitive pricing. If they keep this up, I don't think they are going to stay in business too much longer. There is too much competition in the online shoe market to have high prices. Endless.com got my business in the past 4 orders I have placed, because they price match. I canceled a 248 dollar order at Zappos which cost me 186 at Endless for the same items after price matching. Not too many people want to pay a 62 dollar premium just for customer service that they may not even use. Good luck Zappos.

I ordered 2 VoSky Call Centers from them through amazon.com. The price on them was rediculously cheap, I thought it was a price mistake but I ordered anyway. The next day I noticed that the price went up about 40 dollars. Seeing a price change like that is usually a sign that the price was a mistake and that your order will be cancelled. Under the impression that my order was going to be cancelled, I emailed them asking if they were going to ship them and they replied back within 12 hours with tracking information. To my surprise they actually shipped both of them and I got them in about 2 days, in perfectly brand new condition. I got 2 units shipped for the price that it normally costs for 1 of them without shipping. I wouldn't hesitate doing business with them again. They have great prices and communication as well as fast shipping.

I have shopped at amazon.com more than any other online store. I have been a customer since 1998 and have placed a countless number of orders. They have always come through for me and they sell pretty much everything. I like to call them the Wal-Mart of online stores. I usually avoid their online marketplace and only order items that ship directly from amazon.com and haven't experienced any problems. I am currently on a trial for Amazon Prime and am enjoying the free 2 day shipping, but my trial is ending very soon and I am going to miss it. The amount of negative reviews on here is probably a very small amount of users who use amazon.com. I am pretty sure they have many more happy customers than they do unhappy. The only thing that I wish they would change was the search function. They need to make it so that you can filter out the storefront stores and only show items that ship from amazon.com.

Regardless, I place about 5-10 orders with them a month and they never fail me. I give them my highest recommendation.

Don't really understand all of the negative ratings on this store. I have been shopping their store online and off for many years. Majority of the time I shop them online and order for either in store pickup or for free next day delivery if my order is over 50 dollars. With the many coupons available you can get some good deals. They haven't screwed up any of my orders, and I have placed 9 online orders with them in the past 4 months. I think the other users just had some bad luck, I would recommend them.

I found this store while searching around, and couldn't find a single review on it. I took my chances, and placed two orders, because they had the cheapest prices on the items I was looking for. They have times listed on their website on when a product ships, and they actually stuck by it each time. My first order was said to ship by 11 am and it shipped exactly at that time, and I had it in my hands the next day. The other order I placed that same day at exactly 4:26:40 PM, and that order shipped literally an hour later. This store has the fastest shipping I have seen, when they say same day shipping they mean it. Their website is also very easy to use and has many options, you can combine orders to save on shipping, and you can easily cancel open orders. Not too many other merchants allow this much customization of the order after the order is placed without having to contact customer service. The thing that really convinced me to give them my business was the shipping prices. They actually charge you the actual shipping prices. They even undercharged me shipping on one order, the total they charged me for shipping was 83 cents and when I got the package I noticed it said that it cost 87 cents. On my second order I got a pen that had lights on it, and I didn't even order it, not sure if this was a mistake or a gift, but I was pleased to see it. I haven't had to deal with their customer service, but if they keep up what they are doing no one should have to. This is an excellent store, and I will order from them in the future. I recommend.
