I ordered a fireplace screen for $338 from this company. What I received a week later was a busted up piece of metal and glass. I called them and got "a new one is on the way". Essentially I got the check's in the mail deal.

Now when I attempt to call them, this is what I get:

1)phone rings infinitum
2)We're on a "holiday"
3)We're swamped, leave a message

Needless to say for $350 I stuck with a busted-up piece of metal.

Their "store" operates under various aliases:

1)onecallstores.com
2)bizarredeal.com
3)kingsfurnishings.com (the url which got ME)
4)elegantbushfruniture.com
5)furnirush.com
6)elegantsouthshore.com
7)onecalldecor.com
8)elegantfurnituredirect.com

The "parent company is "AG Distributing"

As always, any store with this many fronts is a scam. I've been scammed, and now YOU'VE been warned.

Ordered the VERY expensive Pioneer Pro-141FD plasma. It was shipped promptly and perfectly. I was NOT hassled by sell-ups. These guys were top-notch and you should NOT be hesitant to buy from them. I will return for more!

I could not find the KEF HTS3001 speakers anywhere in the US. I called KEF and they directly referred me to 6ave.com, saying they had them in stock.

I talked to a chap named Jim who indeed confirmed they were in stock and would go out that day.

Jim was professional and courteous and understood what it takes to make an e-business run smoothly.

I received my hard-to-find speakers and I am very happy.

I would definitely shop at 6ave.com again.

Placed an order for an expensive Tag Heuer watch. Was listed as "in stock" on the website. The product was delivered a day late, but was as advertised.

My ONLY complaint is that their customer service agents are rude and they in no way communicate with the consumer. They NEVER send the email with tracking number despite their claims.

I placed an order from Stuff 2 Buy USA (www.stuff2buyusa.com) on 2/21/07 for a Pioneer BDP-HD1 Blu Ray player ($1344) based on a search through Google Base (beta). The site looked legit, and the price was only $50 lower than the next competitor. I searched here at resellerratings and other places and could find any bad reports about the comapny. In fact, I found nothing at all.

I paid ~$1400 through Paypal for 2 day delivery. Several days go by and I decide to give the "support" number a call. What I get is some guy named James Powell/Richardson on his cellphone! (804) 591-9052. He says hello like I'm calling his home (which it turns out I was).

Now the "company" is located in Fairfax, VA but the area code of the cell phone is from Richmond, VA.

At this time, I knew I was in trouble. Another search yielded these "new" links:

http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff236192.htm

http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff189334.htm

http://www.thewholesaleforums.co.uk/forum/name-shame/6688-best-bargains-usa.html

Apparently this is another of these twenty-named companies. James' business also goes by "Best Bargains USA". Evidentally this guy operates out of some dumpy house sending junk with tracking numbers.

When you file a claim with Paypal he issues a tracking number and sends a roll of toilet paper or some crap to your house to appease the ever-clever Paypal folks.

The bottom-line for me is that he has $1400 of my money, no longer answers his phone or email, so I am out the money (or so he thinks).

Lucky, I have a sister-in-law who is a lawyer in Fairfax, VA and she is going to help me nail his ass.

I placed a useless claim with Paypal, IC3 (also useless), and I've posted this warning on several sites.

I sent one email to Google Base and his site was removed VERY promptly from their listing.

You've been warned!!!

Place order for some parts for a 1970 AMC Eagle on 2/28/07. Multiple emails and phone calls have gone unanswered. I am now going through my credit card company to get my money back.

Bottom line... STAY AWAY. You've been warned.

My response to Harts Auto Parts RESPONSE:

I did not recieve my part within 6 business days as they state. I did not hear from them for two weeks. They did not answer ONE email. I had to go to the Better Business Bureau to get satisfaction. As a matter-of-fact, my order date was February 18th, invoice number 2128. AFTER March 12th I received the wrong part. Their operation is slipshod.

Please email me if you would like proof of my assertions. I kept all records.

“Harts Auto Parts' shipping policy states delivery time for non-freight orders is 5 to 12 business days from the original order date. Customer received the hard-to-find parts on 3/8/07, 6 business days after the order was placed and well within the stated delivery time.”

I wanted to order a Panasonic plasma television. They had the best price as listed on a popular search engine. I place my order on their website. That's when it all started.....

I got an email stating they wanted to "verify" my information". I knew this was trouble. When I called, I was told the television I ordered was inferior to their "professional" line ("Pro Kit" as they call it on their site).

Well the "pro kit" for the Pioneer PDP-505CMX, as stated on their website, supposedly has a 13bit processor and displays like 300 billion colors with a contrast ratio of 10,000:1.

For $1500 more than retail, I bought into this "pro kit". After calling Pioneer and a few "undercover" calls to pricemad.com, I learned this "pro kit" is just the plasma with the PDA-5004 card (Pioneer's standard card). It is a 10bit processor, and retails for ~$299. The contrast ratio for this monitor is about 1100:1.

So I paid $1500 for a $300 card. You can go now to their website and look at the posting for the Pioneer PDP-505CMX. They are committing fraud, pure and simple. I give them the lowest rating.
