Mixed feelings on my first order from Batteryspace.

I realized I didn't need the two items ordered, a day after ordering. I called to cancel, but it had already been shipped. They said if UPS returns the items to them I would incur a $14.00 return shipping charge, plus a 20% restocking fee. I could see the return shipping charge, but a restocking if it hadn't been delivered is a bit much. They also don't have the cheapest shipping rates, and I believe I paid over 11.00 for a $55.00 order. I elected to wait till the items were delivered, and used USPS Priority Mail for $5.15 to return the items. They did send an email offering to waive the restocking fee, if I placed another order, and I thought that was fair. So, for me, I'd shy away from placing orders with Batteryspace, but would order again if no one else had what I need.

BTW, they promptly credited my Paypal after receiving the returned items.

I don't normally leave multiple reviews for a company, but since HobbyPartz has gotten so many negative reviews, I thought I'd help bring their rating number up a bit. I placed my third order with them, in less than 5 weeks. Each order has gone without a hitch, and shipping has been delightfully fast. I just like the way these guys do business. I had to return one item on my last order, and I got a prompt refund, and I didn't have to call to pester them for it. The only downside is trying to get them on the phone is impossible. The online chat works, but you will have a long wait, but they do eventually respond. Keep up the good work guys, and try to get your phone support situation ironed out.

I have to agree with esha4556. I received a defective MP3 player and filled out the required return authorization forms, and sent it back to China (even though this is supposed to be a Canadian company) using USPS Priority Mail, which cost over $16.00. That was 6 weeks ago. Unfortunately Priority Mail doesn't confirm the actual delivery to another country, so I'm at the mercy of Merimobiles. I gave a two star rating instead of 1, because I did actually receive the item I ordered, although defective. So it looks like, Merimobiles has no problem accepting a return, but doesn't acknowledge receipt of that return. Luckily I paid using Paypal, and funded it with Amex, so I have some recourse.

UPDATE: although it did take some time I was credited for the returned item, and appreciate the attention given to this problem by a company employee, Jay. I learned a lesson when shipping to China. Be sure to use a service that has tracking into that country.

What can I say. Ordered a mirror for my car, got it fast and at a good price from DrillSpot. Definitely would order from them again.

Where have these guys been all my life? I stumbled on this company through Amazon, and was extremely happy dealing with them. Overall an excellent ordering experience. Courteous, knowledgeable staff easily reached by phone. Quick shipping, and great prices. I have ordered twice with this company and they are 100% and highly recommended.
