I ordered a PIC32MX7 MMB from these guys, and I love it. Haven't had any problems, and development support through their forums has been stellar. Great company, great products.

Newegg is probably one of the best online stores out there. They have competitive (although not always the cheapest) prices, good selection, fast shipping, and excellent customer service. I've been through RMA with them, and it's quick & easy. In my most recent computer build, I sourced parts from two different suppliers, and newegg blew away the other company in speed, selection, and customer service (the other company had a small price advantage for a few parts, but in retrospect, it probably wasn't worth it). Newegg = always amazing.

Woot has great prices and reasonable shipping rates. I've bought several items from them, both during normal "woots" and "woot-offs", and I've never had a problem.

I'm an Amazon prime student member, and I buy tons of stuff through them. Prices are always very competitive, shipping is always fast, and I've never had a problem. Love this store.

I placed three orders with NCIX on the same day. They quickly shipped and processed two of them, but contacted me the next day claiming they'd had an issue validating my credit card (the same one I'd used to pay for the other two orders). They asked me to verify the billing address and phone number (which I did), and claimed it was taken care of. Just a note - I also called my credit card company, and they informed me that NCIX hadn't even attempted to request a payment for the third order - not that it hadn't gone through, but they just hadn't even tried.

A couple of days after I was told it was taken care of, the status on my order still hadn't changed, and it still hadn't shipped. I got fed up with waiting for them to follow through, and called again. This time they apologized for the delay, and my understanding was that the rep was going to modify my order to have faster shipping so that I'd still get it at roughly the original expected time.

He did not. So my order took over four days to process, and the parts will be coming at least four days later than they were supposed to, due to a series screw-ups on NCIX's part. This was the first order that I've placed with NCIX, and I have to say I'll be going back to the two major online retailers that I've usually used for past PC builds.

EDIT: After NCIX has responded, I would like to emphasize that the same billing information and shipping address were provided for all three orders (including the two the did ship, NCIX confirmed this), and I checked twice with my credit card company - NCIX *never* attempted the charge, but still delayed the order and claimed it was a "billing problem." If it was a billing problem, it was entirely on their end. Also, by "a little more than a business day", NCIX means "three business days" - I confirmed that they had the correct information as soon as they told me there was a "problem" (and they *did* have the correct information - just didn't attempt the charge).

The first 2 orders you placed shipped without issue. Your 3rd order required additional verification and we were informed that the billing information you provided us with was incorrect. We informed you of this and you contacted us back with the updated information. It can take 24 hours or so for us to check this information with the bank as we also had to do shipping verification as you wanted this shipped to a different address that was not on file with your credit card issuer. From the time you updated the information with us, it was a little over one business day before your order was shipped out. We do apologize for the inconvenience and are sorry that that did not work out as well as you expected. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I ordered a DSTT *over a month* ago from DealExtreme, and STILL have not received it! For an in-stock item, I don't care if it's coming from a factory on Mars, shipping should not take a month. In addition, although DX claims to have shipped the item, I don't have a tracking number. The status page just shows my invoice number -- no tracking number. I sent an email complaining about the general slow shipping and the lack of a tracking number to DX support and received the following:

"your order has been shipped out on 2/4/2009 1:11:51 AM

is there anything I can do for you? please advise"

Are they serious? How about telling me where my item is (giving me the tracking number)? How about an apology for taking so long to ship me something that was supposed to be in stock (I ordered 1/12/09)? This is insane. WILL NEVER BUY FROM DEALEXTREME AGAIN.

Your remaining DSTT cards was delayed due to the Chinese New Year Holiday (Jan 24th, 2009 to Jan 30th, 2009) locally, the supplier had temporarily stopped production during that holiday and because of this, we are unable to get the item in hands timely.

We fulfilled and shipped your DSTT cards as soon as we we can on 2/4/2009 1:11:51 AM, but since the package's value is less than $15, there is no live tracking number provided. Would you mind waiting for a couple days, it must be on the way to your destination now. If you haven't received it after two weeks time, please come to us again, we will follow up on it.
