I recently ordered a present for a friend from ThinkGeek for $20 which approximated in GBP should be around £15 and ended up paying in excess of £60 after they charged a ridiculous overseas shipping and conversion rate as well as charging VAT on the cost for shipping, most of which was not shown on the receipt and nor was it shown in the order summary when I went to pay. It is frankly atrocious that a seller would show such blatant disregard for customers in non-US countries which must make up a decent percentage of their market. I would not buy from this website again and would do as I have done in the past and found British-based companies to buy the product from instead.
