A great shop for quiet computing as well as general case cooling.

Pros:
Fed Ex shipping
good selection
Competitive prices

Cons:
Shipping is high for small orders.

The result of the con is that I tend to either place orders for a single item elsewhere or if possible wait until I need a lot of items.

Nevertheless, I've made several orders with Jab-tech over the years, and they're always at or near the top of my list of shops when i need a Heat Sink, Fan or similar item.

Product: Gigabyte P55A-UD4P
Pros:
Great price (10% less than Newegg)
Ordered on a Sunday.
Order was processed and shipped on Monday
My order arrived on Friday.

Min 1 on is a minor one (with lots of words)
Cons:
Picture/description, as well as internal part number imply that the product is Gigabytes UD4 (which isn't as good).

I got what I wanted, and I'm very happy, but it took me much longer to buy the product, because I had to verify that the Manufacturer's part number was correct, read all the fine print to determine what I was likely to get and finally I felt it was necessary to take screen caps of every page, just in case I was sent the UD4.

By most accounts Ewiz/newbiiz is a sold company, but I do think that it's important that they make sure that their descriptions match the product sold (even if the shipped product is better than what is described)

My story is mixed. On the one hand, I believe the way Tiger mishandled my order and did little to fix the problem. On the other hand, the resolution was far beyond what I expected. Here's the story:

The price on a Chieftec case went up while I was ordering. When I tried to cancel minutes later, they had no record of the order. When I called back, it'd already been shipped. They would not honor the price, but did offer to pay to have it shipped back.

I opted to keep it, but found the model, didn't have a side panel fan (the Tiger's Desc said it would). After talking to them and determining their site was in error, they offered to refund my money (less s/h), but let me keep the case, or they'd pay to ship my case back to them and let me apply the $30.00 towards another case, which they'd ship to me at no charge. No other cases were in the same price range, so I kept what I had.

The beginning turned me off to Tiger, but in the end, they far exceeded my expectations for any retailer, and I'll still consider them again in the future.

I ordered a Thermalrite XP-90 heatsink a sunon fan and some Arctic Silver. The price on the XP-90 was excellent, roughly $30.00 shipped.

THe rest of the prices were as good or better than anyplace else. Shipping was prompt and the Heatsink was double boxed (the rest of the stuff was in the one box, which was completely adequate.

The only downside I can come up with is that the fan I bought for the heatsink came with a standard hard drive molex (large female 4pin connector). THe proper connecter would have been a 3 pin. As a result, I had to replace the fan. I might have replaced it anyway, since the Panaflo fans are quieter than almost any other fans, but it was a small mistake. I cannot claim to have asked them to correct the problem, because I didn't realize it was their mistake until I started filling out this review (almsot 1 month later).

That minor quibble aside, I wouldn't hesitate to do business with Xoxide.com again. They shipped promptly and with good prices.
