I am serious amateur photographer in need of a system so I have decided to build a system for my photo processing needs. Newegg has great reviews so I have decided to buy from newegg even though I am in CA. I placed an order for the entire system including the monitor. They split my order into three parts and they charge for and ship two parts of my order but the monitor which is the third part was not shipped along with the other items.

Well its a H-IPS panel and I need an IPS panel, without a monitor I cannot build a system. I wait for a day and ask the customer service about the monitor. They tell me its held up for address verification. That is unacceptable how can a retailer charge and ship for half the order and then hold on to a part of it for address verification. Later that day I got an email that my address verification went through but few hours later I got an email saying my order got canceled due to inventory problems. When I contacted customer service the agent tells me my order got canceled due to a server glitch. And now the item is out of stock again.

Two different answers for canceling my order. That is not acceptable either. When I told him I cannot build a system without the monitor the agent advices me to get a monitor from a local B&M store. The other items have not arrived yet so when I asked the agent that I want RMA for the items he tells me that I cannot get refund for some of the items. When I asked him for his manager he agreed to call UPS and recall the boxes back to newegg. Why could he not agree for RMA when I first asked him!. Now newegg will only refund once they get the items back, the items which I will never received.

For me this is definitely one of the worst experience shopping online.
