How ridiculous is that? Hey Unique at least at the UPS center I have to show a government I.D. The other way I don\u0027t have to show a thing. Again I could walk up while the driver was pulling in with NO ID and sign for the package. “I am sorry you are dissatisfied with your experience with us. However, I do believe you have graded us unfairly.
To quote you, "not allow pickup at the UPS center. How ridiculous is that?"
Well, it is not ridiculous at all. If someone steals your ID they will be able to pick up the package at UPS and we will have no recourse with the credit card company. If we require delivery to your address it protects us as well as you.
There is a substantial amount of fraud with respect to identity theft and diversion/pick-up of packages. It is prudent and wise to not allow pick-up at UPS centers.
I hope you'll reconsider your poor grade of us and your decision with respect to shopping with us in the future. We are actually trying to protect you.

I'll update to your last response. You are not understanding they way the credit card fraud system works. Even if you "walk up to the driver while pulling in" UPS will still show delivery to your address and we will have credit card protection. We will allow pick up at center for regular customers. We are in the electronics business and in order to stay in business we have to be careful especially with newer customers.”
