I made the mistake of ordering a TV from Fry's online. I needed the TV by last weekend and reluctantly took the "White Glove" delivery option they provide, after reviewing their website extensively and determining that this should result in the TV being unpacked and plugged in and all packaging materials discarded. This should have taken 2 days. (see links to Frys site below for details)

To put this into perspective, the TV was purchased for $699 and the delivery charge is $184.00, rather hefty, but I was expecting such service !

From the Fry's website "White glove service is available at an additional cost. "White Glove" service includes disposal of packaging and delivery to your room of choice. Televisions and major appliances delivered using the "White Glove" service will be plugged in and powered up."

I inquired about my order daily, I could never track it with the tracking site and the fastest reply to inquiries has been 2 days for a reply basically saying it is on it's way.

Finally the TV was delivered today (7 days from order). The box was simply dumped at the closest spot to my front door, no unpacking, no plugging in, no carrying to the room of my choice, no "White Glove" treatment.

Sadly this all seems to be one big fat LIE ...

From what I have experienced I will NEVER order anything from Frys online again. If I cannot walk out the door with it (all the big stuff) I will just go elsewhere to find someone who cares, cause Fry's sure does not !
