I have ordered from Sofistic.com twice now. The first time I had abosutely no problems. The second time was about 6 months later, well after I had changed addresses. Even though my address changed, my phone number remained the same. On my order form in the SHIP TO section, I entered my new address, however my package was shipped to my old address. Apparently, there was a flaw in their database which stored my old address, and it pulled it by referencing my phone number when the shipping paperwork was completed. Luckily, I realized this while tracking it on the UPS website when I discovered the packaged was destined for the wrong city. I immediately tried to contact Sofistic via email and telephone. The only way I was able to communicate with anyone was through repeated attempts on the phone. (Don't bother selecting Sales or Operator from the phone menu. I could only get through on Support.) I was told that a call tag would be issued to UPS, and the package would be re-routed to my new address. However, after checking the tracking again, I realized that the package was destined to go all the way back to Sofistic. At that point I called back to demand that a new shipment with my order contents be sent via next day air. I did finally receive the package about 12 days after I had placed the order, which was frustrating considering I had anticipated a 2-3 day shipping time.
I found Sofitics's prices to be very competitive, and the quality of the products was good. However, I would be hesitant to order from them again based on the concern that their database may still be flawed.
